On march 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of it's pilots. It's purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men and who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.
They succeeded.
Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School.
The flyers call it:

I do not own any of the plot of the top gun Maverick movie or characters.
I only own my FMC Nicole and her story line.
I am also not a Navy expert, so there will be somethings that I will create so that the story line flows along. so please don't read this thinking everything I write relating to how a Naval base is run, to how it really is.
