As the day of Will's wedding dawned, the house was a whirlwind of activity. Jackie, her tablet clutched tightly in hand, dashed around with a frenzied determination that was both impressive and slightly alarming.

"Jackie, slow down!" I called out, attempting to intercept her path amidst the chaos.

But my sister barely spared me a glance, her focus entirely consumed by the myriad tasks of wedding planning. "I can't slow down, Y/N! There's still so much to do and so little time!"

Sighing, I resigned myself to the fact that my attempts to calm Jackie would likely be futile. Instead, I joined the others in setting up decorations, arranging flowers, and ensuring everything was in place for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Isaac stood nearby, a bemused smile playing on his lips as he observed the commotion. "Your sister seems to have everything under control," he remarked, his tone laced with amusement.

I chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. "She's definitely in her element. I just hope she doesn't wear herself out before the ceremony even begins."

Isaac draped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. "Don't worry, I'm sure everything will come together beautifully. And even if there are a few hiccups along the way, it'll only add to the charm of the day."

His words were a comforting reassurance, and I found myself leaning into his embrace, grateful for his calming presence. "You always know how to put things into perspective," I murmured, feeling a sense of warmth spread through me.

Together, we watched as the final preparations unfolded, the excitement and anticipation building with each passing moment.

As the final touches were being put in place for Will's wedding, amidst the bustling activity, a sudden commotion caught everyone's attention. Jackie let out a panicked shriek as she discovered her beloved bridal bouquet in tatters, scattered across the floor, with dog, wagging his tail nearby.

"Oh no, not the bouquet!" Jackie exclaimed, her hands flying to her head in distress.

Isaac and I exchanged a glance, sharing a silent understanding. Without a moment's hesitation, we sprang into action, determined to salvage the situation.

"Come on, let's go get some flowers," Isaac suggested, offering me a reassuring smile.

As we left the house we saw Annie helping Lee with the tablecloths and chair covers. I passed them a smile as Isaac took my hand to pull me with him as he increased his pace, hurrying towards the flower shop.

As we entered the quaint flower shop, the air was thick with the scent of blossoms and the soft hum of classical music playing in the background. Mrs. Jenkins greeted us with a knowing smile, her eyes twinkling with a hint of mystery.

"Ah, young lovebirds," she said in her gentle voice, her gaze lingering on us as if she knew more than she let on. "What can I do for you today?"

"We need a new bouquet," I explained, trying to mask my embarrassment over Max's mischievous antics. "Our dog had a bit of an incident."

Mrs. Jenkins nodded understandingly, her smile widening as if she found the situation amusing. "Not to worry, my dears. I have just the thing for you."

As she disappeared into the depths of the shop, I couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about the elderly florist. There was something about her that seemed to hold secrets, as if she had lived a thousand lives and seen the world through eyes that knew more than they let on.

When she returned with a stunning arrangement of flowers, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the beauty she had created. But as I reached out to take the bouquet, Mrs. Jenkins's gaze locked with mine, and for a brief moment, I felt a shiver run down my spine as if she were peering into my soul.
