To think their encounter started with something as cliche as the petite woman bumping into the well-known radio host. He didn't think much of it, simply helping her up and finding her stumbling words amusing.
Next thing he knew, he'd spot her more than once. Interacting with others, assisting them... She seemed nice.
Then he witnessed it. A mistreatment against her.
He simply defended her, talked to her. He learned a bit more about her that day.
Then the next, he'd accompany her. Same as the next,..then another...
And so on.
The last thing he had expected was to grow so fond of her.
