Taking place in ancient Mesopotamia, In the Land of Milk and Honey follows the plight of Dona, imprisoned along with the Bee Goddesses in an underground labyrinth. They navigate their escape with the help of a local beekeeper boy, while her sisters hasten to follow her path there. Along the way they'll meet gods and monsters, including Inanna, the ancient Sumerian goddess of love, fertility and war, and Tiamet, primordial dragon of the sea and creator of chaos.
We'll also follow Anya along on a journey of family reunions and see how Kate and Adam are doing in their new adventures as eco-tourists. Lhamo and Meilin attempt to steal away for a romantic getaway as Lha-sung discovers that the universe is still in peril, and they have yet more work to do to ensure the safety of the Earth. Adelfés!
