Amanda's POV
"No."
"No?"
"No!"
"Why not?" Austin asks, scrunching his eyebrows in confusion, "Most girls would jump at the offer." He winks and smirks at me, showing a row of perfect white teeth.
"That's why; you're way too cocky, plus I am not most girls." I look up at him and he looks shocked. "What's wrong Mr. Sexy pants? Cats got your tongue?" I smirk, everybody knows that nobody says no to Austin. Oh well, I've got nothing to loose.
"Mr. Sexy pants?" Austin laughs and leans closer to me, "Please do this for me?" He pouts. He just pouted. I feel like this is a bad time to laugh at him, "Nope, I don't even know you."
Technically everyone knows him. "Fine, what about if I take you on a date so you can get to know me? Then will you be my fake girlfriend?" I look up into his hazel eyes. "I'll have to think about it. Probably not." I say, shrugging. "Why not?" He asks, scrunching his eyebrows again. "Because, fake relationship or not you are a player and if someone sees you cheating on me then I will look like the idiot for even pretending to date you." I explain.
Austin stands up, "Give me your phone." He says. "What?" My eyebrows furrow. "You know the communication device also used for-" I cut Austin off, "Yes, I know what a phone is." I give him my phone and he types his number into my phone. I wonder how much money I would make selling his number to those needy girls at our school. Maybe I will become a billionaire like Bill Gates or something.
He gives me my phone back, "If you change your mind, call me. Otherwise just tell me at school tomorrow." Austin says and winks. I nod and then he leaves.
Sighing, I lie back on my bed and dial up Jen's number, "Bonjour babygirl." Jen says. "Hey Jen, I am sure you can guess who came over to my house. He brought me jelly tots and Nutella, I know you told him what I like and he kind of asked me out-" Jen cuts me off with a high pitched scream, "What did you say? Did you say yes? Amanda Diesel, it has a nice ring to it." I laugh, "Jen... I said no."
Silence.
"You said no to Austin Diesel! Girl, are you crazy!" I roll my eyes, "Yes, you should know that." Jen laughs, "So what did he say to that?" I can picture Jen raising her eyebrows and grinning like a crazy baboon. What? Come on, you can't tell me you have never compared your best friend to a baboon.
"He said I should call him if I change my mind or tell him tomorrow when I see him at school." I explain. "Good, well tomorrow I am dragging you over to him so you can change your mind because Austin Diesel asked you on out! I can't believe you said no!" Jen shouts. I decided to leave out the fact that he wants me to be his fake girlfriend because I don't even know what to think about that. After a while of Jen shouting at me for turning Austin down she says goodnight and we end the call.
I lie in bed and sigh. What should I do? Would that mean Austin has to kiss me? I feel like I just need to scream.
