Celine paced back and forth in the living room. As soon as Paulo had dropped her off she was quick to drop her bag in their bedroom and dispose her school uniform in the hamper. Changing into leggings and an over sized sweater.

Her mind was racing as she continuously tried to find something that was out of place in the loving room, in the kitchen, just anywhere. She was nervous, she was going to meet the mother of the man she loved. She wanted her to like her, she wanted to hide the fact that she was till a sixteen year old even though her birthday was in a couple of days.

Sitting, with her knees to her chest she waited to hear the car engine stop at the driveway. It was like she had summoned him with her thoughts, because she heard that car engine outside the driveway. She felt the zoo she felt in her stomach earlier, the one she felt when Paulo had told her the news in the morning.

"Celine." Paulo called out. Knowing that she could have been hiding anywhere in the house, "Babe." He sat his mother's suitcase down as he went to search for her. He found her in the kitchen, bidding behind the fridge. Celine looked at him with fear in her eyes, "Come here."

Celine instantly wrapped her arms around his torso, hugging him closer to her, "I'm scared." She mumbled into his chest. She felt a chuckle erupt from her throat, as he planted a kiss on the top of her head.

"They're gonna love you." He promised lacing his fingers into her as they both walked out hand in hand. There they stood, two men and two woman waiting to meet Celine. The woman who didn't stand any taller than Celine. She was young and has green eyes. The other who looked very similar to Paulo stood with dark hair cut right above her shoulder.

"Madre," Paulo began bringing Celine and his mother closer to together, "This is her. This is Celine." Alicia smiled, embracing her into a hug. Surprised, Celine hugged back.

"Good to meet you, sweetie." Celine smiled, nodding back.

She felt the other woman eye her, drinking in her in. Celine turned to look at Paulo, who only brought her closer to her side, "This Antonella." Paulo began, "She's a childhood friend." Celine smiled, at the green eyed woman. She was thin and she had a look in her eye that made her feel uneasy.

Antonella forced a smile, eyeing Celine once more, "How old are you?" Smugly she crossed her arms across her chest, "You look like a child."

Celine opened and closed her mouth. She felt her cheeks flush, she didn't know how to answer. Did she have to lie or did she have to answer with the truth. That indeed she was child. Paulo tighten his grip on Celine. He looked at his mother who only gave him a saddened look. He didn't like the way Antonella had treated Celine, but he wasn't going to be the one to ruin his family trip. Only because Antonella wanted to tag along.

"I thought you weren't suppose to ask a woman their age." Paulo's brother, Mariano questioned in a weak attempt to smooth things over.

Celine looked at Paulo, her brown eyes looking at him. She wanted to crawl under his skin and hide away from the woman that was invading her territory.

"Celine, honey." Alicia mused reaching for Celine's small hand, "Can you show me my room?" Paulo let go of Celine, letting her walk away with her mother following behind her. Antonella rolled her eyes watching as the woman walked away beginning a conversation of their own.

"Celine." Alicia began looking at Celine. There was no denying that Celine was beautiful. She had a body that anyone wanted. She had red, plump lips that any man, including her son could have on theirs all day. She had brown eyes, wide and with long eyelashes hovering over them. She was a beautiful woman, "Pau told me all." Alicia smiled.

At first she couldn't wrapped her head around the situation. How could her son do this. But there was nothing one could to change his mind. He was in love and was willing to take the risk. When she laid her eyes on her, she then could understand. You instantly had to love Celine. She had a sweet aura to her, one that made you want to know her.

"I'm happy to see that you're making him." Alicia took Celine's hands in hers, "It's easy to see that you're his universe."

"He's mine too." Celine whispered, smiling at her mother in-law, "I know that situation isn't exactly ideal-"

"It's okay. I'm okay with it." Alicia cut her off, "I didn't know how to exactly react when he phoned me, but when I saw you two together and the way you look at each other. It wasn't hard to tell what you meant to him." Alicia smiled. Celine returned the smile, she felt a relief hearing that her mother-in-law accepted her.

"I can't thank you enough." She sighed, "It means a lot."

"No worries." Alicia laughed, "I would choose you over Antonella any day. She decided that she wanted to tag along in hopes that my sweet boy was still available."

Celine frowned. There was no way she could compete with someone that was his age or beautiful as her. Paulo stuck his head in. Smiling at his mother and his girlfriend.

"There's my two favorite women." He mused wrapping his arm around Celine.
