"Where did you go today?" Sonia asked Tara as they reached home. "You didn't tell me."

"Uh...I had to...take a walk in the park after all those pastries." Tara said while opening the car's door.

"Oh...kay." Sonia frowned slightly before getting down the car. "Anyways, I was thinking of booking our flights for the next week."

"Okay. Okay, you want me to book-

"No, no. I will do that...I have some scheduling to do before that." Sonia said as they walked up the stairs and into the apartment.

"Listen, I want to...talk to you about something." Tara said slowly as they entered the apartment.

"Yes?" Sonia asked, putting the keys in the key bowl while Tara removed her shoes.

"Do you still like Drago?" Tara asked quickly as Sonia looked at her, a bit alarmed.

"What? Why...why would you ask that?" She asked as Tara walked to the washroom.

"Just because...I think you do." Tara shrugged as she washed her hands. "I also think that you should talk to him...before-

"Please, I don't want to talk about him or that...anymore. Yes, I liked him a lot but now, I...I am trying to move on." Sonia said and sighed.

"But...you didn't even tell him-

"How does it matter anyways?" Sonia shrugged as Tara walked out of the bathroom and she walked in. "He's perfectly happy in his life and so am I-

"But before we leave-

"Tara please, I really do not want to talk about him." Sonia said and closed the door before Tara could say anything else.

Drago woke up the next day to the frantic knocks on his door. Waking up quite alarmed, he quickly put his robe before opening the bedroom door.

"Hi!" Gina's chirpy voice greeted him.

"Hey." He said and cleared his throat before looking at the clock. "What are you doing here at seven in the morning?"

"I am going to have breakfast at my friend's new cafe, with you. So just get ready, it opens at seven-thirty and I don't want to be late!" She said excitedly before walking in his bedroom and to the closet. "You go and take a shower, I will see what you'll wear."

"Gina." Drago said, feeling uncomfortable with all this. "I can't go."

"Wh...why not?" Gina frowned. "You never say no to me!"

"But I am saying now. I am sorry but I have a very important day ahead of me." He said and walked towards her. "I am sorry again."

"What is wrong with you?" Gina exclaimed. "Why are you acting like...like-

"Like what?" Drago frowned.

"Like...like you don't like my company anymore?" She said rather loudly and Drago sighed.

"It's not like that." He said, shaking his head. "It's just that...I have important things to do as well."

"Nothing was ever more important to you than me!" She exclaimed with crossed arms.

"Well. Things change?" He said and cleared his throat. "I am sorry...it's just...you know I have always liked you. But now-

"But now what?" Gina asked startled.

"I have conflicting feelings towards you." He said and sighed. "Don't get me wrong, you are still my friend but that's it, I won't expect anything from you like I did before. I am sorry that I did before, I had no right."

"What are you...talking about?" She said slowly.

"Well, I was always doing what you wanted. And I did that with a selfish motive...thinking that doing all that...will make you...I don't know...like me? And that one day, you will choose me. But now, I know it was wrong of me to do that. And I won't be doing that anymore." Drago explained slowly and didn't notice Gina's face pale and eyes blink rapidly.

"But...but you said you loved me." She said.

"I...did. I still do but as a friend...the thing is, I love you but I love her." He said and gulped as Gina looked at him with wide eyes.

"How can...how can you...you just met her a few months ago and-

"I don't know what happened." Drago said and sat down. "I don't know when it happened."

"I can't believe this. She is a liar, I gave you the evidence, for God's sake, she's a fuc-

"Stop it Gina!" Drago shouted and stood up angrily. "Please don't...why are you acting like I cheated on you or something?"

"Because...because-

"Listen, please leave. I am not in a mood to fight with you. Please!" Drago almost pleaded to a raging Gina.

"Whatever!" She yelled before turning to go away.

"Wait." He said and she looked back at him.

"What?" She asked angrily.

"I think...you may be hearing from Sonia's lawyer soon for...investigating her." He said slowly and she looked shocked.

"I can't believe this." She said to herself before leaving Drago feeling, somewhat, relieved.

He sighed and sat down again, wiping the sudden sweat on his forehead when his mother walked in.

"Well, that was a lot of noise for seven am." Julia walked in her son's room.

"I am sorry." Drago said and looked down.

"What happened?" She asked and sat beside him.

"I know you heard everything, why are you asking me?" He said and Julia chuckled.

"Sorry, I did not mean to eavesdrop." She said and Drago looked at her. "Are you okay?"

"I guess." He said.

"Are you planning to talk to Son...Alessandra?" She asked and he shrugged.

"I don't know yet. She's still upset with me." He sighed as Julia rubbed his arm caringly.

"Well, how are you going to make things better if you don't talk to her in the first place?" She said and he nodded.

"I don't know. She doesn't want to talk to me, I messaged her last night but she didn't even open it." He said and Julia nodded. "And I understand her anger towards me. But...I want to talk to her once but she doesn't. And I don't want irritate or anger her more by going to see her unannounced."

"Why not, you did that before." Orlando said as he walked in with his cup of coffee.

Drago sighed and shrugged.

"Everything is different now."
