"They can be bandits or one of Ferrer's bondmen." Sinabi ko kay Selena.

We were talking about those men yesterday who assaulted the poor woman. Hindi ko alam kung sino sila dahil hindi rin naman ako taga dito. If they are one of Ferrer's bondmen, it means that we're now their enemies since we already killed six of their men.

I just hope they're not.

We heard on the radio that they have been going against the armed forces and they can't locate them dahil palipat-lipat sila ng lungga. May mga napatay rin silang mga scouts at sundalo ng Camp Hawkins.

I don't know what those men are up to to go against the armed forces but they are drastically insane.

"May itinira kayo?" Tanong ni Selena.

Tumango ako. Nasapo ni Selena ang kanyang noo at nagbuga ng malalim na hininga.

"We have to take every measures before we go outside this walls now that we have more enemies around. We need to start looting gunstores already." Aniya.

"Tomorrow, we will get every boards that we can find from nearby houses and cover the windows with it."

We agreed and finished our breakfast. Pinakain ko muna si Chase bago lumabas ng bahay para tumulong sa labas.

I watched her as she sleeps soundly. May nakasabit na dextrose sa tabi ng kamang hinihigaan nya. Selena is actually doing a great job.

Mas namangha pa ako sa kanya ngayong nalaman kong nakapag-aral sya ng medisina. Ang dami ko ng utang na loob sa kanya. I don't know how I can pay her.

I stared at her for a moment before I closed the door. Hindi pa rin sya gumigising. She's been sleeping for about twenty four hours but Selena assured us that she'll wake up soon. At hindi ko alam kung anong mararamdaman nya sa pag gising nya. I'll just hope that she'll think positively.

"Hebrew, tell us if she's already awake." Ani Selena matapos nyang turuan si Hebrew kung paano gamitin ang radyo.

We will be putting the wires which holds the cans outside to serve as an alarm. I don't know where Selena got the wires from but the cans where from the canned goods that we already consumed. Selena divide us into two groups and I am paired with Phoenix like the usual. Umangal si Carol pero sa huli ay wala rin syang nagawa. Sila ang maglalagay noon sa likod habang kami naman ang maglalagay sa kakahuyan sa harap. I don't know how this will work but Selena and Phoenix knows.

Tumungo na kami. Nilakad lang namin ang ilang metro bago marating ang kakahuyan. From here, we can see the road pero hindi namin makikita ang kabuuan ng daan dahil may ilang lilikuan pa. It's actually an advantage for us because people won't see the house directly.

The wires are long enough but there are some parts na hindi namin nalagyan.

Phoenix said that he will make a different alarm better than what Selena made. Natawa lang ako. Natapos namin itong ilagay lahat kaya naglakad na kami pabalik sa bahay.

Isang changer lang ang nailigpit namin kanina which made us happy. Pansin kong mas lumiliit na ang bilang ng mga changers na napapadpad dito. I wonder where they are now.

Hebrew greeted me in the porch with a good news kaya dali-dali akong tumakbo patungo sa kwarto nang babae.

Nakasunod naman si Phoenix sa akin.

Her eyes scanned the whole area before she stared at me. I smiled and hurried beside her. She does not show any emotions which I understands.

Kumuha ako ng baso ng tubig mula sa mesang nasa tabi ng kama at dahan-dahang inilapit sa bibig nya. Napangiti ako nang ininom nya ito.
