I don't know what to feel like. When I moved with my dad and started my junior year, I would have never expected to be in all of this drama. School shootings happen at least once a month. The shooting didn't happen in the school, but it was close enough.

Lot of highschool kids moved after that incident. The school probably had only 120 students now. My dad, who was now a police officer had been working the case of who shot Taylor's mom.

The case had went cold.

Taylor has barely been showing up to school since her mom died. Lots of people have been whispering about different versions of what happened.

They never found who shot Taylor's mom, and who hurt Taylor. Taylor has been a zombie lately and I didn't understand it.

My dad had interviewed Taylor a few times about what happened at the hospital....but it was a dead end.

Junior year was about to come to a close with only 3 weeks left before senior year.

I didn't know what to think lately. I've just been focused on school and hanging out with friends. I've also been looking into colleges, but my mind keeps wandering on why did it happen. Why would someone come after Taylor's mom, her home......it just didn't make sense.

Taylor didn't live in a good neighborhood. She lived in low income housing, however the overall crime rate was super low.

I haven't seen Blake very much. Not that I care, but she seemed off more than usual. I still couldn't get out of my mind, the time where she touched me.

Senior year was starting soon, and I had became a zombie myself. There was so many rumors going around, so much talk around the city about what happened to Taylor.

I only made a small circle of friends, including Brian and Macy. We still hang out and study together.

Senior year was worrying me the most.

Zane, Blake's twin sister was barely even attending school, but yet passing.

According to Tina; Taylor's sister that hid in my room the day that Taylor's mom was shot, never spoke a word to the police about what she saw.

I myself never talked about what happened, I just kept my ears open.

*********

I was laying on my bed studying for the end of the year exams when there was a knock on the door.

I was quiet for a second, I was expecting any visitors. My heart raced a little bit since that incident. Placing my feet off the bed, I walked to the front door, making the mistake of not looking through the peep hole.

Standing on the other side, was Zane. She looked a little nervous with her hands shaking by her side. It was cold outside and her cheeks were really red, making it look like blush.

My heart raced even more, and I stayed quiet. She had a grey sweatshirt with sweatpants to match. It looked like she was sleeping on the streets for the past week. Her clothes were wrinkly and a little dirty. Also her red hair dye was fading out, exposing her natural hair color.

Zane looked at me, silent at first. Her green eyes stared into mine as she took a step towards me.

Quickly I went to slam the door shut. Whatever she had to say, I was not interested.

Zane held out her hand, stopping the door. "I have nothing to say to you, you are not invited here," I told her softly.

"'We need to talk," Zane said quickly.

"No," I push the door, trying to close it. Zane put her foot in the door.

"Stop that!" Zane yelled, pushing the door back. We were like this for a few seconds, until Zane pushed the door with a huge shove, making me fall backwards. The door flung open and Zane walked in.

"Leave me alone, you're trespassing!" I yelled angrily. I never liked Zane, she was pushy, rude, and the sister of Blake.

Zane looked down at me while I was on the floor.

" I know Tina was at your house when her mom was shot," Zane stated plainly.

I didn't say anything, just stared at her. My heart was pounding now and I didn't know what to say. My mouth was dry and I had a feeling that this was about to be a bad day.

Especially when I saw a familiar red mustang coming towards me.
