Val's p.o.v

"Go away Zane!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.    This was freaking me out and I pushed hard on the door, but Zane was really strong.

The red mustang pulled into the drive way. Blake was in the car with shades on and a black hoodie practically covering herself up.
This couldn't be good and I didn't feel safe.
" let's just talk!" Zane shouts, still pushing at the door.
I looked over again at the red Mustang and Blake still sitting there, motionless, watching both of us.
Zane followed my eyes and saw Blake sitting in the car. She stopped pushing for a second surprisingly and I took that opportunity to close the door. Quickly locking it, my knees buckled. I don't know why I was so scared but my heart was thumping.
I peaked from the curtains and saw Zane and Blake talking through the car window. They looked like they were arguing, but I didn't care to watch.

I can't believe Blake would show up to my house after what she did at the hospital. Making sure the door was locked I ran to my room and locked that door as well.
I climbed into my bed and waited for my dad to come home but soon I fell fast asleep.

Everyone was talking.

Winter is now over.

Taylor's mom is dead.

Everyone has theories about what happened but the  police said they haven't found any suspects. Just about everyone at the school was questioned.

Brian told me that Tina, Taylor's sister had gone mute. She was frightened of something.

I was sitting at the lunch table surrounded by Macy, Brian, and a few other friends. None of us was talking, The cafeteria was loud with people. Extra counselors came to the school in case we want to talk about what happened.

But this felt like complete bullshit, because no one knew what happened.

I looked down at my lunch tray. I haven't ate a thing, I picked up my fork and picked at my mashed potatoes. Thankfully, I haven't seen Blake or Zane the whole day.

I didn't know why it mattered to Zane about who was in my house.

Everyone in the cafeteria suddenly got quiet. I looked up interested wondering why it went so silent. The only noise that could be heard was doors opening and closing.
Whispers replaced the quiet and I turn my head and saw Taylor walking through the doors. She hasn't been to school for a couple of months and she looked terrible. Bags under eyes, hair was barely combed and her outfit was very wrinkly.

Everyone watched her as she slowly walk to the cafeteria line to get her food tray.

I wondered how she was doing and if I should go ask. Everyone was just staring at her as if she was going to explode at any moment.

Taylor seemed to notice but doesn't seem to care. She walks slowly and gets her food tray and soon walked right out the same door she came in from.
Just like that, she was gone again.

As soon as she left everyone started to talk loudly again and the conversation was only about one person: Taylor Williams.
