Sarah's POV

I woke up flat on my stomach, my face warm and my whole body so hot. I knew why. I felt his bare arms, his bare chest, on my back. I sighed and wiggled, feeling him grumble.

"Baby no," he whispered. "Shh,"

"Sleepy head, it's the weekend." I sleepily cheered.

"The weekend," his voice was oddly tense. He kissed my shoulder blades exposed in my tank top and I yawned. I slowly pulled myself onto my back and gazed into my favorite pair of eyes.

"Good morning Mr. Horan,"

"Morning," he kissed my stomach and held me tight. "Do you have to hang out with Kathy all day?"

"We're meeting you for dinner." I smiled, tugging on his hair. "I never see her ever since she moved to California when we were little, you know that. We always would fly out there to see her, she's so pumped for New York."

"I know, I know, things are just going to get busy with the company and I won't get any time with you."

"You get the most time with me." I kissed his hair and gave him a playful smack on the back. "Up, honey, I have to get ready. I'm meeting Kath for breakfast."

"If she gets breakfast with you I get a shower." He snatched me up, making me shout as he dragged me off to the shower.

We were just... happy. Niall made me so happy and things were so easy. We had been so great lately and it made my heart so whole feeling.

I wrapped up in a towel after a far too playful shower. He had that big dopy smile on his face, making me roll my eyes. He always had that post-sex expression, it was Niall, he couldn't hide it. He hooked his arms around me as we walked out of the shower, his head on my chin.

"Go," I giggled. I swatted him away and slid into my bra and underwear.

I did my makeup and styled my hair, dressing in comfortable winter clothes. He sat at the foot of our bed in his boxers, watching me the entire time like he always did. I held his face.

"I love you. Have a restful day, like you said; it's supposed to get busy around here. I'll see you at dinner?"

"Can't wait," his voice was tense.

"What's wrong?" I brushed his wet hair back. "You sound so knotted up."

"Bad dreams," he shook his head and laced his arms around my hips, lying on my stomach. "It stressed me out.' He laughed.

I gave his sculpted back a squeeze. "I'm sorry, try to take a nap today."

"Will do, have fun. I love you, baby."

"I love you too." I kissed him and grabbed my purse, heading off.

Kathy was nothing like me, it always made me smile. She was laid back and simplistic, in an amazing way. She loved the California sun. It was different compared to my life in this city.

"Kathy!" I squealed. We stood in Niall and I's favorite restaurant, Martha's. I was surprised that Kathy suggested it.

"Hey Sarah! Ah, I missed you.' she hugged me tightly and tossed her brown hair over her shoulder. We sat across from each other. "How have you been, talk, talk, talk,"

We kept gushing and gushing when I heard something, my face split into a smile.

"What?"

"Our song, wow, they never play this, I mean ever." The song was Toothpaste Kisses by The Maccabees. I took my phone out. 'One second," I smiled nervously. Sitting at our favorite breakfast spot listening to our song on the radio x I had to text you. I hope you get that nap in.xoxoxo
