Drachma [Dhm] is the currency used within the Central Region of the Phoenix Continent.

There are 5 types of drachma coins: (L-R in terms of rarity) bronze, copper, silver, gold* (au) and platinum.

100 bronze dhm = 10 copper dhm
10 copper = 1 silver dhm

bronze and copper coins are often used only in hamlets or tiny villages so they are most common there.

copper, silver and gold coins are mainly used in towns and bigger cities.

Platinum have a limited quantity and is exchanged for gold coins. It is said that only a few nobility possesses a hundred platinum coins. One coin is enough for anyone to live comfortably for 10 years or 20 years if they are frugal.

It is said that the Duke of Aisenburg possesses half the platinum coins ever minted in existence since it was alone of his ancestors who discovered the metal and even creating the minting device used to make drachma coins.

In terms of livelihood and income. 1000 copper coins or 100 silver coins is enough for a single male or female to live for 2 months if they live within their means.

Ingredients are cheap and affordable ranging from a few coppers for a few apples to 10 coppers for 2 whole bread or 1 bag of flour that can last you for 4 days

Food made from an establishment like cafes or taverns are slightly higher ranging from 10 coppers per food item to 40 coppers for a meal combo plus drink.

An average worker from the third ring district earns around 600 coppers or 60 silvers per month while workers from the second ring earns double or triple the amount.

Rent for a room is relatively cheap, priced at 20-50 coppers / month at a small inn while it is usually 100 coppers or 10 silvers / month at a fancier travel inn.

Cloth, Needles, Threads are usually at 10-50 bronze coins while candle wax and hard soaps are 20 bronze coins.

As for nobility, they mostly have silvers and gold coins as their regular currency with a rare few being able to hand over a platinum coin.

To hand one in an establishment is considered absurdly generous and would make everyone respect you right away.

For platinum coins are of the highest form of currency to date.
