Meteora's POV:

"I was trying to warn you that I forgot to lock it." I said with a sigh and gently rubbed my nose with my hand. "Also, I told you not to touch my stuff without my permission. However, I should've locked it after I finished trying it earlier, now Dad would be angry at me for creating it." I whined softly and closed my eyes miserably. "Oh well." Terron shrugged, "I think this launcher would be a great item." He said to lighten the mood, "Why don't you show this to Lewis and show him how great this creation would be?".

"Yeah, he would be glad that I burned down another house with my invention." I answered sarcastically, "All he wants is me going out there and killing dragons, not use any of my inventions, let alone creating them..."

"Well, if you want to go out there . . ." He started as I looked back at him, "You need to stop all . . . this." He gestured to my general direction.

"You literally just pointed to all of me!" I said with a frown.

"Yes!" Terron said excitedly, "That's it! Stop being all of you!"

I looked at Terron as if he had grown another head. The blacksmith might be a good man and had more brain than any other Vikings in the village, except for me, but I couldn't help but wonder if his brain was not enough to know that it is the sole reason WHY I wouldn't want to kill dragons was because it's not . . . well, Me. If I forced myself to kill dragons, that wouldn't be me, but just a fake, a puppet. I would rather face my father's disappointment than throwing away my true self, living a life that wasn't worth living.

"Mm, let me think about this," I said in a sarcastic tone and made a small noise when I sucked some breath in through my teeth. "Sorry but no thanks." I replied as I smirked softly at him.

"Oooh..." He glared at me

"Oooh... No again." I repeated

"Meteora." Terron called for me again, "You, lass, are playing a dangerous game." He said seriously, "If you keep that much raw Vikingness contained, there would be consequences!" He raised both his fake and real hands for dramatic effect.

I looked back at him boringly, "Yeah, I'll take my chances on that." I answered simply as I took the sword I was sharpening and banged on it to get the dents off of it, while my statement caused Terron to sigh of disappointment.

"Why wouldn't you want to fight dragons?" He asked in defeat.

"It's not me, Terron." I answered softly, my eyes clouded over, "It's not me.."

'However, Terron's reason to want me to kill dragons is understandable, because killing dragons is everything around here, plus it's the only way for me to be accepted by the rest of my tribe.'

I took a look outside to see all different kinds of dragons flying by and causing chaos while me banging of the sword with the hammer slowly stopped. I first spotted 3 or 4 Deadly Nadders grabbing some sheep while a Viking was trying to stop them.
