That Very Early Morning:
Normal POV:

Inside the Arena, lies three dragons and two girls sleeping in the slowly changing colorful sky. Meteora's breathing was a little uneven and raspy due to her chest but she was sleeping peacefully, that is until she heard one early bird chirping as it was flying past the arena, trying to get a worm. She opened her eyes and let out a tired, sleepy, and soft yawn, it was quiet as a mouse and not loud and rambunctious as a normal Vikings was.

She slowly sat up and wiped the tiredness out of her eyes with one hand while the other was unconsciously rubbing her chest to make the pain go away. She looked at the very early morning sky and if you had a very keen eye like Meteora's, you could still see some stars out before they went to bed for morning to come.

She took a deep breath before exhaling softly, feeling relaxed when she smelled the early morning air. 'Alani is so right about the air...it's so soothing.' She thought to herself at first before she had a look of growing confidence and determination. "Right... I have something to do..." She said softly as she got up and quietly left the arena without disturbing the dragons or her friend....

That is until the moment she left the arena, a small right eye opened and a body sat up after she left. "What is that Lassie up to this early in the morning?...." Kiki said softly as she went to wake up her dragon so that she can get the other two back to their pens, along with Alani herself.

10 minutes later....

Meteora was now inside her house, down at the food storage to pick out a basket that was filled to the brim with fishes so she could give it to Fearless before her daily schedule today, her project lying on the floor next to her foot. However, she couldn't find the perfect one!.... "Och... Why is it so hard to find a basket full of fish? I have to find one for him or-"

"And who is this "him" you speak of, my dearest friend Meteora?" A voice interrupted the 8 year old's rambling as she let out an undignified squeak and turned around immediately to see Kiki leaning against the storage doorway. "K-k-Kiki!! W-what are you doing here?" She asked immediately as she held onto one of the baskets and gently nudged the object on the ground closer to her with her foot, the project remained hidden with a dyed blue cloth.

"Oh you know, woke up in the very early morning before we can even put our dragon friends away for the day as we usually do, and the next thing I see is my little friend running off here to get a basket of fish... But why are you here anyways? I thought you said you didn't eat a lot of fish?" She questioned as she crossed her arms, an eyebrow raised with suspicion.

The poor child's heart was beating fast and she knew she couldn't lie to a person... She was a terrible liar... Then again, she was pretty good at keeping secrets... Maybe... She let out a defeated sigh. "If I tell you, will you promise not to freak out?"

"You have my word, Meteora. Now tell me, what's going on?"

The small child took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "I... Listen, I have a friend waiting for me and I need to find a basket just right to feed him properly..."

There was silence and Kiki looked down and thought for a moment... "Does it have to involve that drawing of that strange dragon I saw in your notebook that one time?" She asked as she looked at her little friend.
