Sirius, Lily, James, Remus and I were all round the potter place spending a bit of time together. Remus, James, Lily and Sirius have all been working a lot with the order Remus didn't want me helping too much in fear of me getting hurt.. James and Lily had been talking about having kids well Remus and I have talked about it and I want at least one but Remus doesn't. He would hate himself if he passed on his "gene". I told him he was being paranoid but all that did was make us fight. I was in the kitchen with Lily making some food well the boys messed around "Remus doesn't like talking about it. How's everything going you know with the order" I asked Lily "It's hard seeing Muggles and wizards die. This Dark Lord is someone to fear but we're winning right now and we'll be keeping it that way" she beamed "I really wish I could've there helping" I say "It's just your husband being stubborn. It's not your fault " Lily recurred me "Thank you Lily. What would I do without you" I smiled giving her hug. He brought the food into the living room and saw Remus holding a letter. "Whose it from Daring" I ask sitting next to him "My dad" he opens the letter and read it to himself. Not wanting to be noisy I didn't look at it. All of a sudden he got and up throwing the note to the ground and rushing upstairs. He heard a dot slam. "What is the world" I say looking at the stairs. James picked up the note and read it a bit "Dear Merlin look" he handed me the letter. Hope was dead. Remus's mother was dead. I went upstairs and knocked on the door I heard soft cries from "Can I come in Remus, Please" I ask softly. No response "Remus please I read the note. I know what your going through" "no you don't" he yelled I took and step back tears streaming down my face. I wasn't even going to give him a chance to re think what he said
"Don't bother coming home. You can sleep here for the night" I tell storming downstairs. "He's a right fowl git" I say to my friends grabbing my coat. Lily caught me before I could leave "What happened" she asked "I told him I knew how he felt. He tells me a don't. I lost my mother at 16 and now my father is raising so kid being poisoned everyday. And he has the audacity to tell me I don't know what it's like. He can come home once he realizes his mistake" I explain then leaving to aprate home.
Remus' Pov
I didn't even think about the word coming out of my mouth. I could hear her start to cry from the other side of the door and scrambled getting up to open the door but she beat me to it "Don't bother coming home. You can sleep here tonight" she yelled back venom laced her words. My heart stopped. I heard her footsteps racing down stairs calling me a git then after a few minutes the door slamming shut. I step out and went downstairs. They all looked at me. Lily was about to talk but I did before she could "I know Lily I know" I sit down head in my hands "Now what" Sirius asked "Mate you'd make sleep here till morning" James said "No he's going straight home and begging for forgiveness from his WIFE" Lily emphasized the word wife. I nodded "She's right." I grab the letter and my coat, giving them all a hug goodbye and leave. I opened the door and heard soft cries coming from upstairs. I made my way towards our room but stopped when I heard them comi by from an empty room next door "Love I'm coming in" I say opening the unlocked door. There she was the love of my life sitting in the middle of the floor her back turned to me. "Go away" she snaps I don't listen and go over to her "I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking" I say sitting next to her wrapping my arm around her "Clearly" she says looking up at me. I wipe the tears from her cheeks. "I'm sorry about your mum" she says "Thank you" I kiss her forehead.
