Potions class was up next and I wasn't dreading going since Lupin apologized. I walked in with Lily talking about what happened yesterday "I can't believe those idiots did it again. Will they ever learn" She complains "Watch, I bet the second you agree to date Potter. They'll stop making fun at him" "Well looks like we'll just have to find another way to stop them chase I'm not dating James Potter" she huffs taking her seat. The Marauders followed us in and I'm pretty sure they heard the conversation cause "Never say never Lilyflower" James smiled at her, she just rolled her eyes. Remus and I took our seats. "I'm sorry again" he tells me "Don't worry about it. Thank for the gift by the way. The chocolates tasted great" I smile at him he smiled back. "Just for the record. I don't really bully Snape that mostly Sirius and James" Remus adds "I could tell. Every time I see them doing it you behind them just starring I mean it like be nice if you'd stop it but it's still good" I say to him "and Peter" I question "He's too shy to say something to anyone." He tells me I nod. "So I hope you meet with your partners last night to study because there won't be much time to look about the recipes completely" Slughorn told us "The first potion will be the draught of Peace. Page 26" he added opening the ingredients cabinets. We turn to that page and go over to our selected caldrons "I'll look over the recipe. You can get the ingredients" I tell Remus "Got it" he nods and take his book to get the ingredients.
Ingredients:
-Powdered moonstone
-Syrup of Hellebore
-Powdered Unicorn horn
-Powdered Porcupine quills
-Valerian root
Recipe
1.Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns green.
2.Stir until the potion turns blue.
3.Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns purple.
4.Allow to simmer until the potion turns pink.
5.Add syrup of hellebore until the potion turns turquoise.
6.Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.
7.Shake powdered porcupine quills vigorously until they are ready and then add until the potion turns red.
8.Stir until the potion turns orange.
9.Add more porcupine quills until the potion turns turquoise.
10.Allow to simmer till the potion turns purple.
11.Add powdered unicorn horn until the potion turns pink.
12.Stir until the potion turns red.
13.Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.
14.Add more powdered moonstone until the potion turns grey.
15.Allow the potion to simmer until it turns orange.
16.Add more powdered porcupine quills until the potion turns white. Stirring
17.Simmering lowers heat. Add exactly 7 drops of hellebore
Remus comes back with the ingredients. He start preparing them well I tell him what to do.
"So this is meant to be a calming potion" Remus quested "Yeah pretty much. Why" I ask "It doesn't smell calming" he tell me I smell it and gag "Dear god, your right" I hold my hand to my nose, he laughs a bit "shut up, Lupin" I say playfully turning back to the recipe.
"And that's the last step" I sa y looking at the contents of the caldron "it smells better" Remus tell me putting the spoon down "yeah your right" Slughorn comes over to look at it "Perfect. 10 points to both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw" he tells us "Just puts in bikes. You each take some with you" he adds walking away "Good work, Lupin" I say grabbing a vile "Thanks, you too Anika" he smiles at me getting a latle. Our potions made about 25 viles. Remus and I each took 10 and left the other five with sir.
Remus and I were welcome to leave class since we were done class was almost over anyway and we both wanted to wait for our friends so we just waited outside of class. "You know we make a pretty good team" Remus's aid slinging his arm around me, in a playful manner "Yeah I guess your right." I smile up at him. "Where'd your scar come from" I ask studying the one on on his face "Oh Umm. I dog attacked me when I was younger" he tells me. I can see in his eyes I'm he's lying, but I don't push it "Oh ok" I nod. I never really noticed but Remus was extremely attractive. His hair was a dirty blonde kind of colour, his eye bright green, he's was quite tall maybe 6'1, he was also extremely smart and again out of all the Marauders he was the best. He were both smiling at each other, his arm was still around me but the wolf whistle Sirius gave us when the students came out broke us apart. I immediately left for muggle studies not even looking for Lily. "Wait Anika" I hear her say as she catches up "What was that" she asks out fo breath "Nothing. Remus playfully put his arm around me saying we made a good partner ship then I asked a question and everything got serious he didn't take his arm away" I explain. "Well now the entire potions probably thinks your dating" she laughs slightly I push her a bit "shut up Lily. That's not funny" I say waking. The Marauders are already there. Remus just look away from own back at his book, James and Sirius look to be poking fun at him and Peter is glaring at me. What the hell did I do to him. I walk over to professor Bunting (random teacher name). "Sir, can I go back to my normal seat with Lily" I asked "No I don't want Remus and Sirius sitting together" he doesn't even look up "Alright sir" I clench my fits and walk back to my desk. Remus is already sitting there "Hi" he says I just faintly smile "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen" he says "It's fine Remus. But make sure your friend know what really happened"I tell him he nods. The lesson today was pretty simple. Someone nudged Remus's shoulder handing him a note "What is it" I ask him "no clue" he opens the paper reading

The letter was from Lucius Malfoy. I still don't get why he's taking muggle studies. He hates muggles

"What does it say" Anika asks. I couple up the note and shove it in my bag "Don't worry about it" I say turning back to my notes. There not way I'm letting her see that. She'll probably end up doing something to Malfoy and get into trouble. "Did you ask Bunting if you could switch seats" I asked "Well yeah I thought you'd want to be back with Sirius and Lily really doesn't like sitting with him. He always talks up James to her" she tells me "And you don't want to sit with me." I mutter in my breath "That's not true" she says a bit too loud "Mr. Lupin cant you not sit with anyone and not talk. Both of you detention after dinner" Bunting yells at us. "sir Anika did nothing wrong. I'm the one that provoked her" I try and get Anika out fo detention. "Look at that Lupin's protecting his girlfriend" Malfoy sneers "Shut it Malfoy" Anika turns "Well now she has. 10 points form both of your houses". Both of us sigh and everyone goes back to work. We both just got 10 points and they were taking away.
