"That was lovely. Magnificent job the both of you," The music teacher says to Oikawa and Anna, "It's so nice to have you both playing together once again," he adds as he remembers when they were first years.

"Thank you," Anna says with a smile as she sets the violin down.

Oikawa smiles as a few girls in the class start to giggle as they were head over heels for Oikawa. You couldn't blame them. He plays the piano and when you found out he did, you were quite surprised. "(Name)?" Ena says quietly as she's sitting next to you.

You were in the back with the triangle and Ena is with the xylophone, "Ya?" you say as you look at her.

"I know you played the guitar, as you know, it's all over youtube but can you play the violin?" Ena ask out of curiosity, "It's just, you know her mother is the second best pianist in the world and your mother is the first. Do you know, at least, how to play the piano? Out of curiosity," she ask as she was curious you can out play Anna.

"So you're assuming that because my mother can play the piano, I know how to play the piano?" you ask her.

"Yes," she says with a smile and without hesitation that made you laugh.

"Yes. I do know how to play the piano and violin. I can also play flute, recorder, cello, saxophones, a little bit of drums but I still find it very confusing but I know the basics, xylophone... I even learned the traditional Chinese Instruments such as, Pipa, Dizi... I found Guzheng and Erhu and Yangqui to be hard but I figure them out in the end and my personal favourite, the Suona," you tell her as you try to remember if you know how to play any other instruments.

"I'm going to pretend that I know the Chinese Instruments you mentioned," Ena says with a laugh as she doesn't know any of those instrument you have mentioned.

"Um..." you say as you look around the classroom, "Oh, do you see that over there? The large, resonant soundboard made of wood? The one with the strings-- Have you ever watched any Chinese Drama where--"

"Oh! Where they play like this?" Ena says as she moves both of her hands elegantly as if she's playing the Guzheng.

You nod with a laugh, "Yes, that instrument," you tell her and she open her mouth in a 'oh'.

"Barely anyone can it! And here you are sitting in the back with the triangle when you could be playing that!" she says as she point at it but you shake your head.

"I could but I won't. Too much attention towards me. I want to first deal with the sports, then with the school festival and then the whole band thing. One step at a time," you tell her and she sighs.

"Alright but hey, if it makes you feel any better and it might not mean much to you but I'm proud of you," she says which caught you off guard.

"What?" you say wondering why she's saying that and what she means by it.

"I'm just saying that when I first met you, you were shy, anti-social and a person that keeps to herself. You did what you needed to do. You never brought any attention to yourself. You wanted to be the background characters and the background character you became but then you started to open up a little. You met new people and started to do things that get others attentions and you're slowly becoming the main character," she tells you which made you smile gently.

"Everyone is the main character of their stories. It's just how we act or the decisions we make tells us the kind of character we play. For me, I have always been an open bright person but bad experiences can close us off which happened to me but only towards strangers. I'm still close with my family but meeting you guys, I just have to say I feel lucky and you were my first friend here so I'm grateful towards you, Ena," you tell her which made her want to cry but she hugs you instead.
