"Second thought?" your father ask his wife as they watch you walk in the cabin with Hanamaki while smiling.

"Honestly, yes but this is for her..." your mother says as she keeps her eyes on you. She watches how Hanamaki helped you carry your bags and sneaking you in the cabin to surprise the others. "I have to keep reminding myself that she's eighteen and not five," your mother says almost in a whisper.

"You're going to have to let her go, you know?" your father remind her as that's how it is. Parents are just there to love you and make sure you grow up to become someone you're proud of so that you'll be able to go out into the world without fear and with your head up high.

"I know... But it's hard. Plus, I'm scared for her... With her memories back..." your mother sighs as she tries to clam herself down, "It fine. He's in prison either way," she says as she doesn't want to overthink.

"(Name) is strong," your father assures, "There has never been a situation where she went in with fear. She went head strong and alway made the right decisions," he reminds and your mother looks at him with a smile.

"I know..." she says but then the smile went away, "But one think I can't get over my head..."

"What?"

"Tyler said that they were in love. That she consented and ask for it. That there were times she made the first move..." your mother says as everything Tyler declared to the court is in memory as some things just didn't make sense.

"Tyler was declared to have Obsessive love disorder towards (Name) which is why he did everything he did. He believed that she loved him and that everything he did was consensual," your father reminds her as there's not one single thought that would ever make your father believe that you ever in love with a monster like him.

"Then why hurt her?" your mother ask calmly as she didn't understand that part. If he's in love with you, why hurt you?

"Because that's how you dominate or want to control the situation," your father says as it seems like the simple answer, "Tyler hurt (Name) or ordered others to hurt her to what he calls, 'teach her a lesson' but when someone else does it without his permission, he ends up hurting them," he explains and your mother just stays quiet.

"Honey," your father continue with with a soft tone, "The man literally destroyed Xaviers' hands and pushed him off a roof because he was close friend with (Name). He drugged Leandro which almost killed him because he was (Name)'s boyfriend and then proceeded to stab a knife deep in Erik's stomach and beat him up which also could have killed him just because Erik was keeping her away from him. He also went around hurting everyone around (Name) just because they were keeping them apart. The man is crazy. And (Name) did everything she could to protect them all," your father tells her as he tries to hold back his anger.

Out of all the people in the world, why did it have to be his daughter that has to go through something like that?

"So," your father has more to say, "If anything was consensual as the bastard said, it would be because (Name) had no other choice as he would have hurt or maybe killed someone and (Name) is ready to put all the blame on herself but in my book, that isn't consent. If he says they were in love than she was fucking pretending because it would be the only way to get him to not hurt the people she cares for. So fuck everything he said or declared. (Name) is the victim," your father declares because he sees it no other way.

Your mother doesn't say anything after that. She just nods because she agrees with him but she also can't help but think that there might be more to the story than was told.

Your father then drives back home.
