My phone was ringing it was Hardin. I had to answer I know damn well I shouldn't. I just need the truth. I love him.
"Could y'all excuse me for a moment please I need to answer this" I said "Darling who is it?" My mother asked "No one important," I said and left the living room.
I made it to my room and I answered
• phone call •
"Hardin?" "Hardin I know that you're sorry and that you love me." I said since he wasn't speaking. "Yes, it's true. I'm so in love with you and I keep fucking it up. I know that I'm a huge fucking asshole." Hardin says "Yes, that's very true," I said laughing. "Is it true that you are back home in New York?" He asked "Yes it's true I just had to leave and I know that I'm the one who never runs it's always you amor," I said "Yea I know please forgive me." He says "Where are you amor?" I asked "Back in London with my mum. I couldn't stay around as I quote I'm the one always running away from my problems." Hardin says. "True. I'm glad to know that you're with your mom." I said. "Me too. I want to see you" Hardin says "Not yet amor. I want you to figure everything out. First, before we see each other again." I Said and hanged up.
I went back downstairs to see my mother signing for the handbags we picked out.
"Thank you mom for the bags I love them," I said. "So who were you talking to and please don't lie to me. We both know that you were talking to Hardin." My mom says. "Yes, mom it was Hardin. I miss him so much. He is the love of my life. Even after what happened I still love him no matter what happens." I said "I know what you mean that's how I felt when I and you're father started dating. I love him very much." Mom said. "Yes, mom you know that Hardin is the only real guy I love. I'm thinking about going to London to see him." I said "No darling you just came home. Your father would love to see you." She says. "I know mother I can't wait to see daddy but I gotta go see Hardin." "Darling just give him time to think things through. You two will see each other soon." She says. "I know your right."
