"You're just never gonna leave me alone, are you?" She says coming up to me
"I tried"
"Sure you just keep coming back to me though." She says pulling me closer to her and she kisses me.
"I missed you," I said
"I missed you too Amor," she says

Victoria's pov.

We left the party and decided to enjoy our time together.
We were walking around town and that whole time my phone kept ringing.
"Are you going to answer?" Hardin asked me
"No, it's my father like I said I'm not letting them choose what I'm going to do with my life anymore. Just to let you know that I choose you." I said
He pulls me in and kisses me.
All I know is I hear my name.
"Victoria"
I turn around and see my father.
"Come on mija we have a flight to catch." He says stepping out of the car.
"Daddy I'm staying here with Hardin," I say starting to walk away.
"If you don't get in this car you're cut off Victoria no more trust fund. I mean it" my father says
"I'm done daddy and I'm choosing Hardin over a damn trust fund," I say
"I'm being serious Victoria after this don't come back when he breaks your heart again." He says and gets in the car.
They leave.

"Are you serious you're picking me over your lifestyle?" Hardin says
"Yes"
He kisses me.

It's been a month since I was cut off so it's been hard but I manage with Hardin's help. He just wants me to continue with my studies and he will handle the rest.

I don't want to take advantage of Hardin so I'm taking Vance's offer to work for him in Seattle.
I haven't told Hardin yet only Landon knows.

"We'll have you found a place in Seattle yet?" Landon asked
"Nope"
"No?"
"You know it's been hard since I been cut off. I have some money saved but hopefully, I do find a place" I said looking at Landon
"I'm gonna miss you, dude. I'm gonna have to start watching the Kardashians get my fill of drama in your absence." He says
"Landon, I'm only going to Seattle. You're just a call away. So stop being dramatic"
"Between work and school, you are gonna be swamped. You're not gonna have any time for anything, like friends, family especially not people like" Landon rants and he stops when we notice Hardin come up to us.
"People like who? Me? Is there something you wanna tell me, or should l ask Landon? Cause he seems to know a hell of a lot more than I do." Hardin says looking at me.
"Not today, satan. I am gonna see you both this weekend at the lake house." Landon says getting his things
"Don't bet on it."
"We'll be there," I say and Landon leaves
"What?"
"What do you mean what? So what's going on that you're gonna be so busy." Hardin asks
"I'm taking Vance's offer for Seattle," I say getting my bag.
"Why? Since when? When are you going?" Hardin asks
"Since this week and I'm leaving Friday," I say
"Friday? You're going and you didn't even bother to tell me."
"Well when was I supposed to tell, you? Because you left" I say looking at him
"Yeah, I'm here I came back for you."
"I couldn't hold of you for nine days I didn't know if you were gonna come back?" I say
"So what is that it then?" He asks
"Can we talk later? I gotta head to class"
"No let's talk now," he says pulling me over to a bench.
"Yes, I said that I didn't want the job cause of my parents but this is a great opportunity for me and I'm hoping that you would come with me," I say
"I was hoping that we could move to London after graduation." He says
"How was I supposed to know that?"
"Well, I was gonna tell you but I mean it doesn't matter anymore, does it? You've made up your mind you've got a plan. You've envisioned your life in a way that doesn't have me in it." He says
"You are in it if you wanna be. Look I get that you're angry and we do need to talk about this so we will continue this discussion later." I say getting up
"Oh, that's big of you. To find time in your busy schedule. Thank you" he says walking away

Hardin's pov.

After our discussion, I left campus and went back to our place.
My phone rings and it's my mom.

Phone call
•

"Hi, mom. How's London?"
"Good. I just wanted to check you're okay. I heard that Victoria took a job with Vance in Seattle since her parents cut her off for choosing you." She says
"Where did you hear that?"
"Christian and I were talking earlier"
"That's kind of weird"
"He and I known each other since long before you were born"
"Look, I just prefer not everyone knows my business, mom I'm gonna call you back."

Victoria finally comes home I was in our room.
"Hey, you what you up to?" She asks
sitting down next to me on our bed.
"Just waiting for you so I can apologize to you"
"For?"
"For being an asshole about this whole situation"
I push her down on the mattress I hover over her and I start kissing her thighs
"I'm so sorry," I say continuing my way up her thighs.
I look up at her and I know she's enjoying this
"Please forgive me," I say kissing her again a little bit higher.
"That's not fair," she says trying to pull me up.
"Please forgive me" and I continue.

We made love that night.
