Hardin's pov.

I was sitting alone at the school coffee shop and I notice Victoria come in. I can't get her out of my mind even though we are broken up.
"Hi," I said
"Hi," she said
"I can't stay away from you," I said
"What are you even saying right now?" She said
"Well, we're gonna see each other since we have the same friend group. Victoria can we just start over. Just reset and we can be" I said and she cuts me off
"What? Friends?" She said
"Well, why not? I want to show you something." I said
"Let me remind you the first time we were friends it didn't work out you remember we dated then you broke my heart. So no we can't be friends Hardin. Whatever you gotta show we can do that another time I gotta meet up with Noah at the moment." She said
"Please so we can talk and I don't know to hang like old times," I said.
"No I gotta go sorry," she said
"See you around then," I said walking away from her.
"Okay come on dumbass you can never take no for an answer." She said laughing.
I pulled her out of the shop and we drove up to the place I wanted to show her.

We made it to the place that I wanted to show her which was located in the woods.
"It's down this way," I said.
She looked around and said.
"This is super shady are you like planning to kill me out here?" She said laughing.
"Come on"
We walked to the lake and her whole mood changed.
"Welcome to my favorite place," I said.
"It's beautiful. I'm surprised you never showed it to me before." She said
"How about a swim?" I asked
"No Hardin just take me back to campus." She said
I took off my shirt.
"Come on let's swim," I said smiling at her.
"Hardin"
"Come in you can wear my t-shirt. It feels amazing" I said.
"Fuck it," she said getting undressed and she jumped in.
I wrapped my arms around her I just stared at her.
"What?"
"You're finally enjoying yourself," I said
"Fuck you," she said and splash me. 
"Whatever Victoria I know you still love me," I said
"Nope," she said laughing.
"So let talk since I asked you here today," I said.
"Okay shoot."
"Do you still love me?" I asked her.
"No."
"What?" I asked getting kind of upset.
"Of course I do and I will never stop loving you. You know this Hardin. Please just understand we can't be together anymore." She said giving me a soft smile
"Why not? Please give me a good explanation of why the hell we can't be together." I asked her.
"Cause of Noah" she simply said.
"Okay so let me ask you this. What the hell does he do to deserve you?" I asked her 
"He cares about my feelings and he understands when I say leave me alone and he does. Not like some people" she said rolling her eyes at me.
"He listens? But isn't that boring though? Cause I remember that you loved it when I ignored you and you loved to beg me for my full attention. It was our game." I said wrapping my arms around her.
"Yes it was a fun game at first but I got tired of playing our stupid games all the time." She said rubbing my cheek.
"So let's get out and dry off so we can leave," I said pulling her to the surface.
"Hardin?"
"Yes Victoria"
She turns to me and kissed me. I pulled away.
"Why you stop?" She asked
"We got time for that some other time," I said

Victoria's pov.

After hanging out with Hardin I went back to my dorm room I found Steph there with Tristan.

"Hey, guy what y'all up to?" I asked
"Nothing much just chilling," Tristan said.
"Where you been?" Steph asked.
"I just came from Noah's." I lied.
"Cool," Tristan said
"We going out tonight with Molly?" I asked
"Hell yeah," Steph said.

We got ready and headed out to the diner we all agreed to meet at.

We got to the diner and we saw Hardin hanging out with Tessa. What the hell he was just with me like an hour ago and now he's here with her. I got a little bit upset but I didn't show it.
We decided to walk up to them.

"Oh hey, guys." Molly Said
"Hey, Tessa" zed greeted her.
Hardin just looked at me.
"Guys let's just hang out for a minute," said zed
we all 3 sat down since Steph and Tristan ran off to a separate booth.
"So, what have you two been up to?" I asked starting at Hardin.
"We were just, um" Tessa try to explain but Hardin cuts her off.
"We were just getting some food." He says.
"Oh, how's the boyfriend tess?" I asked giving her a dirty look.
"We're leaving," Hardin says.
"Perfect, I need a ride," I said looking at him.
"It's not a good time, you can ask zed or Molly for a ride." He says looking at them.
"Dude, we just got here," Zed says.
"Excuse me," he says to Molly which she was blocking him in.
"Let him go m," I said
"No, let's have some fun," Molly says
"All right Tessa," Hardin says hanging her his car keys.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yes. I won't be long." He says.
She gets up and leaves.
"What's up bro," zed says
"Fill us in," Molly says
"What the hell y'all up too?" I asked.
"It's nothing," Molly says.
"Tell me."
"It's not important," Hardin says
"You know what fuck y'all I'm leaving," I said getting up.
"Victoria wait," Hardin says
I ignore him I continued walking out the diner but He had to stop me.
"What do you want aren't you here with her. So go back to her I thought you were still interested in us." I said.
"Us? What do you mean "us"?" Hardin says
"I was willing to give us another chance but never mind since there is no us. Since it seems your choosing freaking Tessa over me and I don't mean shit to you. Let me tell you this so it will get through your thick skull I'm fucking done with you. Don't come around me asking to talk. I'm done." I said walking away from him.
