Freya's POV (first person)
Jace had avoided me for three days. I didn't bother trying to talk to him, and neither did he.
It felt weird. I did notice him being, buddy buddy with Clary, but I couldn't care less. Well that's what I tried to recite to myself 24/7, however it was actually the opposite.
I hadn't gone out for a while, and I was in need of a little visit to pandemonium. I had gotten a tip off, of Valentine's location, not that I told anybody. No one had spoken to me for three days. Well... Alec did.....
Anyways. I was wearing a ribbed black shirt, with black high waisted skinny jeans, and a leather jacket.
After straightening my hair, I snuck out my room. It was late, and I didn't expect anyone to be awake. I walked past Jace's room, and heard Clary's voice. Eavesdropping, had become a second nature to me, since I've become accustomed to the shadow world.
"Jace, look all I'm saying is give her space", Clary said.
"I have, and I want to talk to my girlfriend...", he said.
"Just give her space", Clary said.
I heard Jace's door open, and saw he was approaching my room.
Sh*t.
"She's gone", Jace said.
"Alec! Isabelle!", I heard Jace yell.
So much for sneaking out.
I walked towards my room, I'd rather not have half of the institute hunting mr down.
"Why were you yelling", I heard Isabelle say.
"Freya is gone", Jace said incredulously.
"Am I now", I said, raising my eyebrows.
"Where were you going?", Jace asked.
I ignored him, and proceeded to enter my room. Jace slowly walked into my room, and slammed the door harshly.
"What the hell!", I screamed.
"Frey... what's going on", Jace said.
"Nothing, I just needed space", I said.
He walked over, and tightly hugged me.
"I seriously can't handle arguing with you", he said.
"Back at you, softy", I said.
I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed me longingly. We both pulled apart, and started to pant.
"I've missed that", Jace said.
"What, making out with me?", I asked.
"Where were you going?", Jace asked.
"Nowhere", I said, kicking of my boots, and huffing in frustration.
"I got a tip off, from someone claiming they know where my dear old father is", I said.
"It's probably Jonathan", Jace said bitterly.
"Yep", I said.
"Can I stay?", Jace asked.
"I don't think, that's the best idea, you see... I think it's better if we just, stay friends, too much has happened", I said, emotionlessly.
Jace looked crushed and heartbroken. Sh*t. I was just joking. Oops.
"April fools!", I said.
Jace's facial expression turned from hurt to angry.
"Freya, seriously!", he huffed.
"Calm down Jacey", I said.
He laid down next to me, and his arms circled my waist. I rested my head on his chest.
"I love you", he said, whilst stroking my hair.
"Clary and you look cute together", I said sarcastically.
"Shut up Frey", he said.
"Alright Jacey", I said.Flashback- two hours earlier
"Alright, goodbye Jonathan", I said, ending the phone all.
