"Are we not going to talk about how you disappeared for two weeks and got us all worried?" Iwaizumi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Aw, did someone miss me?" Oikawa cooed, batting his eyelashes.

"No," he said, sarcastically rolling his eyes, "and I'm being serious."

A frown etched itself on the brown-eyed boy's lips. Everything suddenly becoming gloomy.

"My mom... My mom's... gone," tears started flowing down his face.

His eyes softened in reply as the chocolate-haired boy, once again, snuggled against his chest.

No one questioned the two boys, who, even if the café was empty, would sit on the same table. The spiky-haired boy ruffled the other's hair in hopes of calming him down. He was never good at comforting to start with.

"I'm sorry," the teary one said, sitting back up, sniffling, slightly embarrassed from his actions.

"Don't worry about me, it's alright," the other reassured, smiling slightly, "You're alright."
