Happy beginnings:Tessa and Hardin

Chapter 7

Tessa
This is me and Hardin's first day I alone with the baby we just got back from the hospital thankfully we only had to stay for two days Emery was really healthy besides been 3 weeks early "here is the living room ,the kitchen is there ,the bathroom is there down the hall is our room you will sleep with us until you can go into your own room"

"Hardin she doesn't need a tour"I say to him laughing

"Oh yes she does she needs to be comfortable"he continues giving Emery a tour of our apartment I follow them both down to the bedroom "ok Em you lay here"he lays her in her crib he is really really good with her it makes me so happy "why don't you get some sleep"he turns to me "I'm not tired"I say mid yawn

"Tessa you have barely slept in the last 24 hours sleep the baby is sleeping why don't you sleep"

"But I'm really not-"

"Mmmm"he shushes me

"Hardin"

"Sleep"he practically pushes me into bed

I knew Tessa was tried she practically went to sleep the moment she hit the pillow, I hear Emery starting to cry "shhhh baby your going to wake your mummy up and she deserves some rest"I say and she smiles for the first time "baby that's funny mummy's tired you put her through a lot"I say and she smiles again holding onto my finger and she starts to close her eyes again I love the feeling of her snuggling up to me I even like the baby smell ,she opens her eyes again looking at me

I sit back on the bed beside Tessa still holding Emery she is really alert for only 2 days old she has these big green eyes that she just stares at you with I guarantee she is going to be nosy like Tessa

I think Emery is hungry she keeps trying to grave and my chest and is opening her mouth "no no baby I don't have boobies that's your mummy...Tessa"I gently tap her and she slowly opens her eyes "sorry to wake you I think she is hungry"

"It's ok"she takes her from me butting down her shirt I have to keep look away because there huge and I just want to touch them again I did this morning but Tessa said she is sensitive.

"Emery you hungry today"Tessa says as Emery continues to feed before she pulls away and I take her from Emery to burp her "do you mind if I take a shower?"Tessa asks me "of course not go ahead"I say and she leaves the room

"Where daddy gone where's daddy gone"I cover my eyes and Emery starts to cry "no no baby daddy isn't gone I'm right here"I say and she looks at me with her lip curled "don't worry Em I'll never leave"i say to her and she sniffles and than spits up I lay her down on the bed and go to get her fresh clothes I unbutton her baby grow why does this thing have about 20 buttons I try be as careful as I can I'm still a bit nervous changing her because she is so small "there all clean"I finish the last button I lay Emery in her crib and go to Tessa

"Hardin you scared me"she says pulling on her towel "sorry love"

"Where Emery"

"Down in her crib"I say wrapping my arms around her waist "I can't believe we can't have sex for 6 weeks"I say to her "least I can get my body back but than"she says "what do you mean what's wrong with your body"I say confused sometimes I think I love Tessa's body more than she does "well...I just had a baby I don't really feel my best"she holds her towel tighter "Can you please let me get changed I don't want you seeing me"

"Tessa I always want to see you you can't be shy around me"I cup her cheeks and kiss her lips "you sure you not scared seeing a baby coming out of me"

"Surprisingly not it happened to fast for me to notice"I say and she laughs placing her head on my chest "but my stomach"she pulls away "tessssaaa your crazy"I say and she playfully rolls her eyes at me and we walk back to the room "she looks so peaceful"Tess says looking over Emery's crib and I sit back on the bed "close your eyes"Tessa says and I cover my eyes but of course I peak "Hardin I know your peaking "Tessa I have seen you naked 1000 times just get changed"

"Ugh fine"she drops the towel and I take of my shirt throwing it to her and she puts it on her.

It's 7pm and me and Tessa are both wrecked and lying in bed "well we almost mad it one day as parents"Tessa says "we did so far it's been alright"I say to her and the baby starts to cry and we both look at each other "least it's her last feed until tonight"Tessa says climbing out to get her "these my beautiful little girl sucking on mummy's boobs"

"Hardin"Tessa starts laughing "I'm kidding"I say and she test her shoulder on me I take her from her and start burbing her "she is in a milk coma"he laughs at the milk around her mouth and her eyes half closed "she better not throw up on me again"he says "goodnight baby "he says and places her in her crib and climbs back into bed "one day done"he pulls me u close to him
