Happy beginnings:Tessa and Hardin

Chapter 8

Tessa
It's 3am and Emery is up for a feed Hardin is getting dressed because Trish is coming to visit,she is so excited to see Emery I know she will love her "I'm so fucking tried she could get a cab I will pay"He yawns "Hardin"

"I'm joking"he says putting in his shoes "I will be back soon my loves"he kisses my head and Emery's before leaving "Go back to sleep baby I will see you in the morning"I place her back into her crib and get back into bed my self.I am trying to stay awake but I can feel my eyes closing

I wake up to Hardin pulling me over to him as he gets into the bed "where's Trish"I whisper to him not to wake Emery "in the guest room go back to sleep"he softly says and I close my eyes as he holds me close

It's 9am by the time we woke up even Emery stayed asleep "Ugh I don't want to get up"Hardin says still with his eyes closed as I lift Emery out "did you have a good sleep"I gently lay her on the bed and Hardin opens his eyes "my little princess"he says rolling over to face her as she looks around she has grown so much in the last month "Stinky baby you are"Hardin teases her as he unbuttons her baby grow I hand him the diapers and wipes he says he doesn't mind changing diapers now he got so used to the smell it doesn't bother him anymore "your finally getting some hair"

"Hardin don't tease her baby baldness"I rub her little head and she reaches up her hands "are you ready for breakfast"I lift her up to feed her "I can't wait until Trish meets her I know how excited she is"

"Oh trust me she is excited it's all I heard about last night"he says "I had to stop her from coming in here when we got in"he says "do you want to burp her"I ask him and he sits up and I pass her to him.Once she is done we go out to the living room it's Sunday so neither of us are in work that's why Sunday is my favourite day because the 3 of us can be together in our pyjamas for the day

"Friend is on"Hardin calls me "one Monet just finishing cooking breakfast"I call back and dish the food on plates "here babe"I sit down beside him and he pulls my leg over his Emery is just alseep again in her baby chair "here"I put the bacon in his mouth even though me and Hardin are 26 27 I still sometimes feel like we are 18 in our apartment together "good morning"Trish comes out "Trish is so good to see you"I get of the chair and she wraps her arms around me "oh Tessa you get more beautiful every time I see you oh my goodness look at her"she looks down at Emery "she is so beautiful can I please hold her"

"Of course you can mum"Hardin gets of the chair and takes Emery out and she starts to fuss "shhh princess your gran is here"Hardin says and I look to Trish who is just looking at Hardin with a smile as he places Emery in her arms "oh I love her just so much"Trish says "she is so tiny"

"Mum don't cry"

"Hardin I can't help it I didn't think I would get a grandchild"she says and Hardin says quiet knowing what she is saying is true "mum isn't she just so beautiful"he says proudly sitting closer to trish "She is sorry to say Hardin but she looks like Tessa"She says and we laugh "that's ok I like it like that way"he says smiling to me and Emery starts to open her eyes   and Hardin's phone starts to ring "one second"he excuses himself "Tessa I can't tell you how happy I am"Trish turns to me "This is just something I never thought I would see happen Hardin meeting someone like you and than have a baby I just get emotional when I think of what his life would have been if he kept going the way he is going"she wipes under her eyes "sorry"she says and I wrap my arms around her trying not to cry

Hardin walks in and I can tell something happened "Hardin what's wrong"

"Umm..Landon called my dad Ken has been in a car crash it's not looking good".......
