Emery

A couple of weeks ago I found out mommy is having a baby and I was not happy at all I am still not that happy.Mommy now is getting a fat tummy I told daddy and he said don't tell her because she will get upset and cry he said pregnant people do that I always see him touching her tummy and rubbing it I think that is a little bit strange if you ask me.Mommy said I need to go to a doctors appointment with her and daddy today she said they are going to find out if it's a boy or a girl I want a baby brother because than he won't take all my stuff and we won't have to talk at all that sounds good to me

"Emery Hunny are you almost ready we have to leave"

"I'm ready"I run out to her and daddy "let's go"he shuts the door behind us and we go to the car I look out the window pretending I'm not listening to them talk but I am

"She just annoys me so much when she thinks she can control me"mommy says who is she talking about "it's just the way she is Tess you can't let her get to you"

"She is still annoyed we didn't fly out to her for thanksgiving but we where bro working and I had that terrible morning sickness"mommy puts her head in her hands I think they might be talking about grandma I see daddy look in the mirror at me and I turn back to the window

We get to the doctors the last time I was here I had to get a shot I hope they are not tricking me and I'm getting another one "daddy what are we doing here"I ask him when mommy goes to check in "we told you finding out the gender"

"Are you sure"I ask just to be sure he is telling the truth "of course I am we are going to find out if it's a boy or girl"he says and we sit on the chairs "who will they know"
"Because they will see it"

"See what"he never understands what I ask "they see do they have a boy part or girl part"he says "a penis?"

"How do you know that"he sounds surprised

"I'm not dumb"

"Well I don't like that word don't say it again"he says to me "ok..."that was strange "there's mum let's go"he says and I follow him over "mommy did you pee in a cup"

"Hardin I told you not to tell her"She gives out to daddy and he laughs ,as we get to the room I get a little nervous and I take daddy's hand "Tessa it's good to see you again and Hardin"the doctor says "and I don't believe we have meet"he looks at me but I try hide behind daddy "this is Emery"mommy says "well it's very nice to meet you"he puts his hand out to me and daddy nudges me forward and I put mine out and than I take daddy's hand again "can I sit on your lap"I whisper to daddy and he lifts me up and mommy lays on the bed and lifts up her t-shirt "now let's see if we can see the gender today"the doctor says "hope so"daddy says and he puts some weird jello on mommy's tummy and than has this weird thing and starts moving it around "is that the baby"I point to the little screen "it is sweetie"mommy says "is the baby sleeping"

"No the baby's awake and moving around"the doctor says "how does it not get stomach guts in its eyes"I say and everyone laughs "moving around to see what we can see and I think we may be able to get a clear view picture"the doctor just keeps talking why won't he hurry up.I lay back on daddy's chest and he wraps his arms around giving me a little kiss on my head daddy has a rule I always have to give at least one hug and kiss a day.

"If you look here this his the baby's head and the spine moving down....and yes we will definitely see the gender today"he says and mommy puts her hand out to daddy "would yous like to know now"
"Yes please"she tells him and I look at her she looks really happy "well congratulations you are having.....a boy"he says "I knew it was going to be a boy this is so exciting"mommy says and I guess I am to ,daddy hugs me tighter as mommy and the doctor talk about boring stuff

"I can't believe it's a boy"Mommy says when we leave "me to I'll no longer be outnumbered by girls"daddy says and they both laugh I don't get it "Emery what do you think are you happy"mommy asks me "I guess so"I say I'm not 100% ok with this baby maybe 75 and a half % ok with it

"He is going to be a big boy I can tell"she rubs her tummy

"Takes after me of course"he says and mommy rolls her eyes laughing.
