"Almost there," Deaton said as he held Ethan under the shower. He had arrived shortly after the boys fell to the ground. Deaton had told them that fireflies had made their way into their bodies and were making them do crazy stuff. He pulled out a limp and wet bug and threw it to the floor. "Isaac, you're next."

"No, no please. Marley-" Isaac said, clutching her hand as Deaton pulled his arm. He stumbled under the shower head and was immediately held. Deaton stuck his entire hand down Isaac's throat. Marley felt sick watching.

"Don't fight it. Isaac, stay still," Deaton instructed as Isaac fought against him. He extracted his hand and flicked the dead fly to the floor. "Got it."

"Are they okay now?" Allison asked. Isaac moved to stand next to Marley. She immediately rubbed his back as he held his neck. He looked pale and tired. Black blood dried under his chin.

"I hope so," Deaton said. "The part that's worrisome, is that this was most likely just a distraction for what was happening to Stiles."

"There's really two of them now? Kira asked.

"How is that even possible?" Marley asked.

"But how did the other one just take Lydia? We turned around and they were gone," Allison said.

"So was her car," Aidan said. Isaac sat on the sink and reached for Marley. Her held her hips and pulled her back so that she was stood closer to him. He kept his hands there.

"So no one notices him just kidnapping her right out of the house?" Ethan asked.

"Most of us were concentrated on the bizarre sight of a creature, materializing from out of the floor," Deaton said.

"Hold on. How are you so sure which Stiles is which?" Kira asked.

"That's what they're trying to figure out now."

...

Marley walked home with Isaac. She didn't want to go back to her own home because it was cold and empty. Liam and her mum were still at the Lacrosse tournament and would be for another three days. Isaac would have driven Marley to the McCall house, but his car was a piece of shit and had broken down ages ago. He didn't have enough money to replace it, let alone by a bus ticket. Marley knew that Void had detached itself from Stiles, but she didn't expect Stiles to be at The McCall house; she expected him to be with his dad.

"Hey," Isaac called out as they walked through the front door. "We're home."

They walked through into the living room, seeing Scott and Stiles turn around. Both Stiles and Marley's eyes lit up as they saw each other. Stiles had been terrified to go anywhere near Marley. The whole time he was possessed, he had done his best to keep the Nogistune from going near her; he knew that he could take her instead of him. When Marley looked at Stiles, she didn't feel ill or cold. No funny feeling, no strange sensation, just Stiles.

"Stiles!" Marley gasped. She ran over to his open arms and wrapped hers around his neck. Stiles held her tightly, taking in the long time needed hug. "Oh my god, it's you. It's really you."

"And it's you," Stiles repeated, pulling away to look at Marley. He was more than glad to see that she resembled him in no way. She didn't look pale with red eyes or dark bags. She was healthy.

"I missed you so much," Marley said. She moved back and stood next to Isaac again. Isaac stepped forward and patted Stiles's shoulder.

"It's good to see you," he said. Him and Stiles were anything but friendly. But that didn't mean they weren't friends. They would still go out of their way to protect each other, they just wouldn't show it.
