Rebecca

I woke up bright and early this morning just to make sure I had something cute to wear. Eventually my eyes landed on a light blue tube top, a light grey cardigan that blew beautiful in a breeze, and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans.

"Now for the shoes," I muttered to myself as my eyes scanned over the shoes in my closet. Luckily some light grey boots jumped out at me because I still need to grab breakfast.

Once my outfit dilemma had been solved, I skipped downstairs. My mom was making her lunch for work when I entered the kitchen.

"Morning Becca," She smiled.

"Hey mom."

"I am going to stop by a few stores and your grandmother's house after work today so don't wait up," She said quickly as she zipped shut her lunch bag.

"Okay, I'll probably be with Cody and Rachel," I told her.

"Alright, have a nice day."

She made her way over to where I was and gave me a quick peck on the forehead before she was out the door. That's my mom, super busy all the time. Lucky for her, I understand why she can't be home all the time. She has no husband, and has to take care of both me and herself. At least she isn't one of those mom's who doesn't care about me at all. Last night she questioned me about the small scrapes on my elbow, but I told her I just scrapped it against something.

Patrick isn't going to know what hit him when I see him today. I have to really put him in his place this time otherwise he'll send the pictures out to the whole school.

While I munched on a bowl of cereal, my ring tone started going off, nearly giving me a heart attack.

"Hello?" I asked when I picked it up.

"Hey Becca, you think you can pick me up?" Cody asked.

"Why, you have a car?" I asked confused while shoving another spoonful into my mouth.

He sighed heavily, "Well, I kinda got on my mom's bad side and she took my keys."

I mentally chuckled, that boy is always in some kind of trouble.

"That's a bummer," I said sadly, "I'll be there in about ten minutes."

"Kay, thanks a ton. Oh and there's one more thing," he trailed off.

Uh oh, whenever he says that it's always bad.

"What?" I asked, glaring at nothing.

"It's nothing too bad, Dylan just needs a ride too. He's here with me already so you wont have to go out of your way," he replied calmly.

At least Dylan isn't one of the bigger assholes like Patrick or Jack. Those two are a piece of work.

"Fine, see you soon."

I pulled up in front of his house and honked my horn twice. For all I know they could be playing a dumb video game and not hear me.

The front door opened and they walked out of the house with smiles on their faces, talking about something. I just watched as Cody came around to the passenger side and got in. As soon as he glanced at me I shot him an evil glare, then Dylan plopped into the back.

"Hey Rebecca, we really appreciate this," he smiled.

"Uh huh."

Cody's arm whacked into mine, but Dylan didn't notice.

"I mean, you're very welcome. You did help Patrick kidnap me and stuff, but that's no biggy," I chuckled fakely. I should just leave him on the street somewhere.
