Sacrifice

Amanda hasn't returned. Draco got up from the floor and ran towards Y/N, he tried to unlock the chains off of her but it was no use.

"Draco." Y/N began as he continued desperately trying to unlock them. "It's no use. She put a spell to insecure it tightly."

"There has to be a way out. I will get the both of you out of here." Draco tried to reassure her but they both knew that wasn't gonna happen.

"Draco, you heard her. You can choose between Scorpius or me...you can't save the both of us." Y/N had tears rolling down her face, she knew how this is gonna end. "Save Scorpius."

"W-what?" Draco asked.

"Save our son," Y/N repeated, Draco looked at her with tears in his eyes.

"What about you?" Draco asked. He didn't want to lose her—well he didn't want to lose the both of them.

"I lived my life. Scorpius is starting his life, he has his whole life ahead. Please choose him." Y/N begged. Draco shooked his head as he was now crying.

"I can't lose you both, you and Scorpius mean so much to me. I can't lose you nor Scorpius." Draco let out a sob.

"Draco—please choose Scorpius, I will be ok. I want you to raise Scorpius, I know you can do it." Y/N said.

"I can't do it without you. Scorpius needs his mother, I don't know what I will tell him if he asks me where you are. We both need you." Draco cried. Y/N stared at him she tugged at her chains to try to reach his face.

"Draco—tell Scorpius I love him and I will always watch over him and you." She cried softly. Draco cupped her face as his bottom lip trembled.

"Please don't say that. You are not gonna leave us, I won't allow it." Draco's voice cracked as he gently stroked her cheek. "I love you. I love Scorpius—I promised him that we will be a family, he needs both of his parents. He can't lose one of us."

"Draco—I know it's not easy but save Scorpius. Do it for me—I love you too and I will always love you." Y/N said. "Tell Pansy and Blaise I love them and I'm glad that I met them and became friends with them."

"Please—Don't do this to me—I'm not ready to say goodbye." Draco spoke, he kissed her lips with passion. They both could taste the saltiness of their tears, the two of them pulled away and looked into each other's eyes. Draco got up and walked towards his son to find him asleep, curled up in a little ball. He had tears streaming down his face and once in a while, Scorpius would let out a small hiccup. Draco kneeled and stroked his son's hair.

"You don't deserve to be in this situation. I won't let anyone harm you...I'm supposed to protect you from danger because I'm your father. Every father is supposed to protect their children, I don't want to see you suffering—you are just a kid." Draco whispered.

An idea popped up in his head and he knew that with his idea. He could save both of them—hopefully.

Draco stood up and walked back to Y/N who was quietly praying. He knelt in front of her and gently stroked her face with his hand, he wanted to see her face for the last time.

"I love you."

Before she could say anything they heard footsteps. They both knew who it was and Draco didn't want to look at her.

"Sorry to ruin your family moment but Draco have you decided who you would save?" Amanda asked. Draco looked at her then back at Y/N who gave him a pleading look that told him to choose Scorpius but Draco had other ideas.

"Yes—I have." Draco swallowed the lump in his throat. Amanda smiled widely, she knew he would choose his son since Y/N would beg Draco to choose him over her. Amanda wanted to torture Y/N for taking Draco away from her, she wanted to hear her cries.

"Who will it be Draco?" Amanda taunted him. Draco stood up and walked towards Amanda.

"Let them go. Let Y/N and Scorpius go." Draco spoke. Amanda had a scowl on her face.

This wasn't her deal. She wanted to harm Y/N in any way she could. She glared at Draco.

"You can't choose both of them!" She hissed angrily. "I know Y/N wants you to choose Scorpius so why don't you choose your son, he won't suffer any pain."

"They both don't deserve any of this," Draco replied. "Please let them go and in exchange, you can hurt me in any way you want but don't hurt them."

"Draco..." Y/N began but was cut off by Draco.

"Don't worry love, I will be ok—I love you and Scorpius, tell him he is a strong little boy." Draco's voice cracked.

"What do you mean Draco?" Amanda asked she was a bit amused by watching this.

"It means I will sacrifice my own life so they won't have to feel the pain from me. I'll do anything to protect them if that means giving up my life but don't hurt them." Draco said. He looked back to see Y/N sobbing uncontrollably while Scorpius let out small whimpers. "I love you both, don't forget that."

"Very well." Amanda raised her wand and cast a spell to untie the chains off of Y/N and Scorpius. The four-year-old ran towards his father but was stopped by his mother. "You two can leave while I'll deal with Draco."

Draco tried to find a way to attack Amanda but couldn't find one. Amanda glared at him.

"Incarcerous!" Draco was tied up with chains. He struggled to get free.

Draco looked at Y/N and Scorpius. They were both crying and trying to get to him.

"Y/N, Scorpius. Get out of here! I love you both, never forget that...now get out of here!" Draco pleaded. Y/N and Draco locked eyes and he mouthed out, get help.

Y/N picked up their son and ran. She could hear Draco's screams coming from that cabin, it broke her heart but she had to get them safe and she knew she had to get help.
