5. The truth

I saw Mal at the entrance to her cave. So she was bothered by something...
"Mal?" I cried.
She was startled and turned around.
"Harry!" She climbed out of the cave opening and walked towards me."
"Hey... Is everything okay?"
I shrugged.
"No idea. What about you?"
"I have some problems butI don't want to bother you with that..."
I looked over the lake and Mal looked at me.
"Something is bothering you."
"Nothing really!"
"Harry...?"
" No!"
"You don't have to hold back for me. I can tell that there is something."
"Wa-"
"Just say it..."
"Ugghh..."
We sat on the edge of the square.
I sighed.
"This is not my home. My home is the island. I have a reputation there, a purpose and a meaning. Here I can and I am nothing or no one."

She leaned back to skip the stone away. When she threw I paid attention to the skips.

Mal chuckled.

"With magic, you can change anything. I've turned meals into something else, you can erase other people's memory and the best of all."

She leaned closer and started whispering.
"I can change people's hair with a spell."
"You wouldn't dare!" I hissed back.
"Is that a challenge?"
"I'd rather not!"
She laughed and I chuckled.
"I have to arrange your 'thing' for you. See you tomorrow!" she said with a grin.
She rushed away.
I got up and walked to my room.

Unfortunately I couldn't talk to Uma and Gil anymore or anything... They were still on the island. As long as Uma keeps an eye on Cj and Harriette... I thought. Maybe I could go back to the island for a day instead forever. Then I could see Uma and Gil again. And they ask why they didn't take the chance to come to Auradon for me... I got up and walked to the palace.
