I walked down the hallway to poisoning class.
As if I cared. I didn't need anything else besides my sword, did I?
I sighed and walked to the classroom.
That stupid son of Jafar, I could drink his blood.
Of course I was alone. Ah, fascinating.
A little later, a purple haired girl walked in.
"You are very late." said the wicked witch.
That girl chuckled.
"As always."
Angry witch beckoned to the spot next to me and that girl sat down.
Everyone started acting spastic when that chick sat down.
Was she infamous or something?
That son of the dog hater looked at me in shock at how calm I remained.
So what was it with that girl?
"So, poisoning is done in pairs. And no, don't poison each other. You will soon have an animal that you have to poison. You work together with the person next to you. So Carlos and Gil. Jay and Uma. Jonas and Bonnie. Harry and Mal."
'Mal' looked at me with a chuckle.
"Son of Hook, aren't you?"
"So?"
"Too bad you're a pirate. They are never good at poison."
Jay gave me a signal not to continue in the discussion but I ignored him.
"And what gives you the right to determine whether I am good at something or not?"
"Mal, daughter of Malificent. Queen of Poison and the Island."
I chuckled.
"Sure."
Mal looked at me offended.
"You don't believe me?"
"No." I said calmly.
She chuckled.
"You'll regret that." she said softly.

After poisoning class, Mal came to me.
"I'm impressed with your poison techniques."
"Well, well."
"Later with sword techniques you will squeak differently, Hook."
"Is that a threat?"
"Do you want to find out?"
"Even if your mother is Malificent, you can't make me anything. You can't use magic. And that makes you powerless."
"We'll see."
Deep down, I felt strange. Every time she looked at me, that feeling came back... Strange...

At sword techniques she was not as good as she thought.
I rolled my eyes.
"Keep sword closer, you can put more force to injure your opponent and you can better aim at your opponent." I said, and Mal looked at me in amazement.
"So?"
"No... Just wait."
I walked up to her and showed her how it was easier.
She sighed.
"Unbelievable that I'm getting your help."
"I can also leave you alone."
"No!... ehh... No..."
"How do you hold your sword? Look..."
I put my hands over hers and showed her how to do it.
I then turned bright red and let her go again.
Was I allergic or something?
Mal chuckled and she also turned light red.
So it will be in the air.

At the break, Gil chuckled.
"So you're trying to get the most evil girl on the island?"
"What are you talking about?" I said not understandingly.
"That you're trying to get her?"
"Why get her?"
"That you're going to like her and stuff."
"Like it? As in... Fall in love?"
Gil nodded.
"Don't be so weird dude. Villains don't fall in love."
"But how-"
"I have to truant. Have a bad day."
"You too."
I walked out of the canteen and bumped into Mal.
"Can't you-"
Mal looked at me startled.
"Also Hello?"
"I didn't see you."
"Then you are one of the few."
"Are you going to truant like that?"
"What did you think? That I'm going to my mother's evil lesson?"
"Does she teach it?"
"No, I'm lying," she said sarcastically.
I chuckled.
"But I'm going to loot during truancy. You?"
"At least make sure I get in trouble."
I looked back and saw Gil grinning.
"I have to go." I said briefly.
"I'm going with you. With two of you plunder five times as much."
"I don't think you can count."
"It's an expression..."
"Of course."

A few weeks later, I was pushing some rats against the barrier so that they scorched away.
I had no worse things to do.
"How are you and Mal?" asked an annoyingly familiar voice.
"What do you want Gil?"
"Didn't I just ask?" he asked confused.
I pushed another rat against the barrier.
"Mal and I are allies."
"No couple?"
I got up.
"Listen Gil, on this island there is no love, there is no friendship. Only allies and family."
He looked at me startled and ran off.
"Hey Hook!" cried a girl's voice.
I turned around and saw Mal.
"Hey Purple!"
She walked over to me and grinned.
"So this is what you do after school?"
"No, normally I train with my father but he had to arrange some evil things."
"I still have to do something for you in return since you helped me with sword techniques."
"Why would you?"
"Allies are loyal to each other."
"What do you want to do?"
"You don't trust me, do you?"
"Do you mean that now as-"
"Come with me..."
I looked at her in amazement and walked behind her.

After a while, she chuckled.
"Hey Dizzy, look who's here!"
I thought quickly. Dizzy... 8 year old granddaughter of...
That child was suddenly in front of me.
"You really keep your word Mal," Dizzy said.
"For you always," Mal said.
And then the penny fell.
Dizzy had been whining for weeks to...
"F*ck..." I muttered.
Dizzy chuckled.
"Calm down, I don't do anything. Mal just said that you were in class together and all that. And I didn't believe that."
I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Worse..."
Mal chuckled.
"Were you afraid of something?"
"What?! Nope!"
Dizzy laughed.
"Every time I-"
I put my hand in front of her mouth.
"That's not important."
Mal chuckled.
"I'll see you tomorrow Dizzy."
"Bye Mal!"
Mal looked at me.
"Do you stay here or do you go with me?"

She didn't have to say that twice and I quickly walked behind her.
"Do you really have makeover fear, as Dizzy calls it?" asked Mal suddenly.
"No, of course not!" I said quickly.
Mal looked at me questionably.
"Oh really?"
I pretended not to hear that and looked around.
Mal stood in front of me.
"Then prove it."
"Huh?"
I felt that this was going in the wrong direction and wanted to confess it. But on the other hand, I didn't want Mal to think of me as a loser.
Mal looked at me.
"Then prove that you don't have a make-over fear."
"How?"
"Tomorrow after school. Lady Tremaine's Curl and Dye. Or don't you dare?"
No, I don't dare! I thought.
"Fine." I said.
Inside I was going crazy with myself and Mal looked at me in amazement.
"Okay. And if you recoil?"
"Then..."
I thought quickly.
"Then you can flick whatever you want with me for a day."
"A week."
"Fine. And if I don't chicken out?"
"You do it anyway."
"You refuse my question."
"You're convinced of it, aren't you? I'll make something up."
"Sure."
"I'll see you tomorrow."
She walked away and I sighed.
"What just happened?!" I muttered in surprise.

The next day after school...

Nervously I was waiting for Mal on the square.
When she walked in, she grinned.
Her long purple hair hung over her shoulders.
"You're early?" she said with a laugh.
I chuckled uncertainly.
"Could be..."
"Come on."
And she walked in front of me.
Now there was no turning back.
Only Dizzy was very... okay...
She looked up surprised when she saw me.
"Finally!"
I swallowed and Mal chuckled.
"Yes, Dizzy. Lil' Hook and I here have a bet."
"So...?"
Mal nodded and Dizzy church suddenly super enthusiastic.
I looked at Dizzy hopefully.
But she looked at Mal.
"So what we had discussed?"
"Yes. But not like last time more your style."
After a while, Mal was done.
Her hair was shorter with black locks. It seemed really great... For a short period of time.
She pushed me onto the chair and she grinned.
I sighed.
"Live your way out of Dizzy..." I muttered.
"Really?!"
"Yea..."
I soon regretted it but Mal wouldn't win this.
I noticed that Mal was chuckling and that didn't exactly make me confident about this... Damn...
After a while, Mal looked at me stunned.
"Wow..." she muttered.
Dizzy turned me towards the broken mirror and I looked surprised.
"Dizzy... You have real talent..." I said softly.
Dizzy had a smile from ear to ear.
"Do you like it?"
"Funnily enough yes..."
I got up and looked at Mal.
"See? Bet won."
"Okay. I've already come up with something."
"What?"
She stood in front of me and pressed her lips to mine.
"Is that enough?"
I looked at her in amazement.
"What did you do?"
"I kissed you. You know what that is, don't you?"
I shook my head.
Mal seemed startled and stepped back.
"Oh... Never mind..."
She quickly ran off...
And then I understood what Gil was talking about.
Dizzy looked at me in amazement.
"Hal... or Malarry..." she muttered.
"Huh?"
"A ship name."
"Why a ship?"
"No, ship. Shipping two people, wanting to pair up..."
"As a couple?!"
"Ehh... Yes. She is clearly in love with you. And you on her. Otherwise I should never be able to give you a makeover."
"So that's what I felt..."
"Go after her then!"
"Later Dizzy."
And I ran after Mal.
