Charlotte's POV

His jaw clenched while he was glaring at me furiously, and he warned me. "Don't provoke me, Charlotte!"

I narrowed my eyebrows and gave him a death glare. "Then learn how to act when you have a co-partner. You started it when you agreed with the perfume campaign without me. Now we are even. If you don't want me to do it again, then change your attitude, Alexis." I stated in an authoritative tone, emphasizing the word Alexis.

I noticed some strange glint in his eyes which he hid immediately and pulled back, running his hand through his hair.

"Find yourself another playground daddy's girl, and let someone who knows how to run a business take care of the agency." He stated confidently, placing his hand into his pocket. "You have been working here as a model for a while. So I guess you don't want to ruin the business with your childish behaviors." He added, giving me a mocking smirk.

"How dare you! What do you think I am? Some brainless bimbo?!" I shouted, frustrated, clenching my fist.

He raised his eyebrow, smirking, and roamed my body from head to toe, rubbing his chin, pretending to think.

Rage swept over me. I was holding myself hard from strangling this Greek cretin.

"Asshole! You are an arrogant jerk without any manners. I will show you who I am. You will take your words back and apologize for behaving like a real ass." I stated, determined and stormed out, slamming the door behind me. If I stayed one more minute in this Neanderthal's cave, I would kill him with my bare hands.

When I walked into my penthouse, my phone rang. I pulled it out of my bag and picked up the phone, taking off my heels.

"Hey, Sienna." I greeted my friend as I sat down on the couch, placing my bag beside me.

"Hi. How are you?" She asked warmly.

"Tired. I have recently arrived home. And you?" I ruffled my hair and leaned back against the couch.

"Fine. I am waiting for Romeo. We are going to have dinner at the restaurant." She replied. "Tell me about your new co-partner? Do you get along well?" She asked mischievously.

"He is an asshole." I gritted my teeth in irritation. "And yes, we get along very well. I love him so much that I want to kill him." I added sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

Sienna chuckled. "Hmm... I heard he is handsome... Your Greek." She commented, amused.

I rolled my eyes. "Maybe, but if he didn't only have an arrogant annoying personality." I stated, annoyed and frowned.

"Hmm. If you say so." She mumbled slyly. "There is a thin line between love and hate..." She added in a playful tone.

"Sienna!" I warned her. She chuckled in mischief. I breathed deeply and shook my head. "He drives me crazy. I hate when he bosses me around. He acts like I am not his co-partner, but his assistant." I scowled angrily.

"Hmm... he drives you crazy." She commented playfully.

"Sienna!" I warned her, irritated. "Don't you care that your best friend will be a murderer because of that asshole?" I pouted, narrowing my eyes.

"Don't tell me you don't like him. He is your type." Sienna commented, intrigued.

"Since when is my type arrogant jerks?" I asked angrily. "It is you who like these kinds of guys."

"Hey, don't disrespect my hubby." She stated playfully.

I rolled my eyes. "He has already made you look like himself. Both of you are annoying." I mumbled, annoyed.
