Chapter 42
Natigilan ako ng magtagpo ang mga mata namin, saka lang ako nakabalik sa katinuan ng magsalita si Jessie. "H-hello po Mr. Sanchez" nahihiyang sabi ni Jessie at inayos ulit ang pagkakakapit ni stanley sakanya.
Nilingon ko naman si Mr. Sanchez at nagulat ako ng mariin itong nakatitig saakin at lumingon kay Stanley na natutulog nakaakbay saamin.
Umayos ako ng tayo at tumango sakanya, hindi sya kumibo at umurong nalang sa pinakagilid para makapasok kami sa loob ng elevator.
Pagpasok namin ay nagreklamo nanaman si Jessie, "Ang init Zara ah!" He annoyingly said and look at me and smirked. I rolled my eyes at him and just look at the man infront of us.
"Which floor?" Mr. Sanchez coldly ask. I didn't answer him and just look at Stanley who is peacefully sleeping....he's super drunk huh?
Jessie answered for me. "Sa 15th floor po Mr. Sanchez" he sweetly said and stand up straight.
"Okay" malamig na sabi ni Mr. Sanchez.
When we got to the 15th floor, Inayos ko na ang pagkakakapit ni Stanley saakin at sinabayan na si Jessie sa paglalakad. Nagulat naman ako ng may biglang humawak sa mga braso ko, Nakita kong si Mr. Sanchez ito at walang emosyon na nakatingin saakin.
"Are we meeting again?" Mahinang sambit nito at tinitigan ako sa mga mata ko. Napalunok naman ako at hindi alam ang sasabihin.
I'm gonna answer him when I remember the reason why we broke up. I remove his hands that holding my arms and walk away not minding his change of emotions.
When we get inside Stanley's condo, Pumunta kami kaagad sa kwarto nito at hiniga sya doon. Agad kaming napabuntong hininga ni Jessie at hinihingal na humiga din sa kama at pinagitnaan si Stanley na ang sarap ng tulog.
You're gonna pay for this tomorrow Stanley.
"Grabe nakakapagod buhatin itong si papi Stanley! At halos hindi pako makahinga Zara babes!" Tumitiling sambit ni Jessie at umupo at tinignan ako, habang ako naman ay naguguluhan sa sinasabi nya.
"What do you mean?" I ask. He look at me and rolled at his eyes. "Of course! I saw my future husband! My baby Timothy Sanchez!" Tila kinikilig pa itong patalon talon at pinaghahampas pa ang natutulog na si Stanley. Stanley can only groan and returned to sleep again.
Inirapan ko si Jessie at sinabihang ayusin na si Stanley dahil amoy alak na ito. "Jessie, let's do the routine" I said to Jessie and he just nod and go the bathroom.
May routine kasi kami ni Jessie kapag kami ang naguuwi kay Stanley, buti nalang at hindi ko sya dinala sa condo ko dahil napakadisaster ang mangyayari.
After doing the routine, Me and Jessie finally decided to sleep because we're very tired.
When I wake up, I held my head and look at the side of the bed. I see Jessie peacefully sleeping, while there's no Stanley sleeping on the bed.
But, before I stand up, the door suddenly open and it revealed Stanley who is smiling at me, but I just rolled my eyes at him.
He just chuckled and go straight to me, and I know what's gonna happened.
𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘡𝘢𝘳𝘢, 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘬 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘦.
I rolled my eyes at him, because I already know the speech he will say.
"I'm sorry Zara, I promise I'll never get drunk again-" pinatigil ko na siya dahil kabisadong-kabisado ko na toh.
"Just shut up Stanley, because I already memorized your line" he just smiled shyly and hold my hand.
I frowned and remove his hands and stand up. "Now, stop doing that and let's make breakfast!" Naiinis kong sabi sakanya at pumunta na ng pintuan.
Dahil alam namin na pagkanagising na si Jessie ay ang unang hahanapin nito ang pagkain.
Stanley just laughed at sumunod na saakin palabas.
We both clapped our hands and sit on the sofa. We just finished cooking breakfast and now we're tired again, it's so fucking hot here in the Philippines!
Stanley look infront of us and we saw Jessie who is directly going to the kitchen, not minding us here in the livingroom.....tired.
I just laughed and go to the kitchen, Stanley did the same.
Pagpasok ko sa kitchen ay agad kong sinabunutan si Jessie dahil hindi manlang kami hinintay, masama naman siyang lumingon saakin, inirapan kolang sya at tumabi na kay Stanley.
"Papa Stanley sinabunutan ako ni Zara tapos wala kang gagawin?!" Parang bata na sumbong ni Jessie at sumubo ng kanin habang masamang tumingin saakin.
I raised my eyebrow at him and lean to Stanley and whisper to him. "We need to prank-" hindi ko na natapos ang ibubulong ko kay Stanley nang umingay ang doorbell.
Nagkatinginan naman kaming tatlo, "Do you have a visitor papi Stan?" Kunot-noong tanong ni Jessie. Umiling naman si Stanley at akma ng tatayo ng naunahan na siya ni Jessie.
"No, I'm getting it...just stay the both of you there!" We just laughed at Jessie because he's so cute when doing that.
We just nodded at hinayaan na si Jessie na pumunta sa pintuan. Itinuloy ko nalang ang dapat na sasabihin ko kay Stanley. "We should put a prank to Jessie right?" I smirk at him.
His eyes widened and look at me scared. I just laughed at him because I know the reason why he's so scared. "Y-you know Zara w-what will g-gonna happen to m-me right?" Kinakabahan na tanong nito.
I just laughed at him and pinched his cheeks. "You-" someone cut my words and that's.....Mr. Sanchez?!!
Shock is evident on my eyes when I look at him, what is he doing here?!
I remove my hands on Stanley's cheeks and stand up to face him. "What are you doing here?" I coldly ask.
He just look at me and I somehow see a emotion that I know it's just my illusion.
Si Jessie na ang sumagot at may ipinakita na bagay na nasa kamay nya. "Ibabalik nya lang daw ito sayo" sabi ni Jessie at lumapit saakin.
I didn't look at him and just look at the man who is looking at me too. I just stop when someone hold my hand, I look at the man who is holding my hand and I saw Stanley who is worried about me.
"I'm just giving back your keychain, that's all" I look at Mr. Sanchez, then he just looking at Stanley now, down to hands of Stanley who is holding my hands.
Mr. Sanchez, said something that I know that it's not true.
"I guess you're happy now" He said and leave the condo.
