Hi everyone!

I am so happy to be back with a spin-off for Just for Tonight! It feels so good to be back with these characters, I can't even tell you. I have so much planned for Sam and Lila, and I can't wait to type it all out and share it with you guys.

Also, this book can absolutely be read as a standalone!

If you're reading this book without having read "Just for Tonight", here's some things that might be helpful to know: The Alvarez family consists of four children— Cole, who is the oldest son, Scarlett, who is the oldest daughter, and Sam and Lila, who are the youngest siblings and are twins. Scarlett is dating a singer named Nate Cameron who she met for one night years ago, and he wrote an album about her to find her. Cole is married to Allison, who was his childhood sweetheart. Their father, Reece, passed in a car crash a few years ago, a all children are close with their mother Lorena.

A few things to note before we begin. I want to clarify that this book does not pick up where Just for Tonight ends. This takes places roughly six months after Nate surprised Scarlett at her brother's wedding. The twins are going into the senior year, and the timeline is roughly two to three years before Scarlett and Nate are engaged. The reason for this is because I wanted to write about the twins while they're in high school because that's integral to what I have planned.

Also, this story is about Sam and Lila's relationship as siblings and their family first, the romance comes second to me. It may not seem like that at times, but as you get further into it, you'll see that this book is a coming of age story for the twins first and foremost.

Now, a few rules I have.

1: I always remind people, please be kind. Be respectful to both other people reading and also respectful in any of your comments. I read every single comment I get, and I love to respond and interact with my readers. But sometimes a rude comment can be really off putting from doing that. So, I just want to remind people that I put a lot of effort into my books and characters. Please be kind.

2: Don't steal my work or ideas, I'll throw tomatoes at you.

3: Don't promote yourself on my book or wall, I'll throw more tomatoes at you.

4: Please remember to comment and vote! It's so incredibly encouraging and I absolutely love to read all my comments and respond to my readers. It means the world to me that people take the time to read and comment, so please know it makes a huge impact.

And... you know the drill! Question time!

1: How old are you? (I'm 22!)

2: Where are you from? Drop your flag! (I'm from 🇺🇸)

3: Why time is it for you? (For me it's 10:43pm)

4: What's your favorite book, TV show, or movie? (I have literally a million shows but The Vampire Diaries, Outer Banks, Criminal Minds, Heartstopper, and WandaVision are my go-to TV Shows. My favorite book has to be Daisy Jones and the Six, Love and Other Words, or any of the Off-Campus/Briar U books. My favorite movie is probably Love, Simon or Love, Rosie)

5: Who's your favorite singer? (Mine has to be Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Harry Styles)

6: Say anything here! This can be anything from a fun fact to just how you're doing today. (I'm gonna say a fun fact and tell you all that the earth's moon is smaller than Australia, I was shocked to learn that haha)

7: How did you find this book? Examples are from Just for Tonight, tags, referral, TikTok, etc (I wrote it so I found it pretty easily)

8: And finally, any predictions or things you want to see in this book? (I want to see me write and post consistently personally)
