1.A Journey of Self-Discovery

Khwahish POV:

Bag packed - check.(Files, Laptop,Charger, Shoes, Poster, Painting kit, and Specs )- all packed and ready for college.

 But something feels a miss. Oh, yes, novels! How could I forget them? (nervous laugh)

 I quickly grab my books and adjust them in my bag. After all, I can't afford to miss out on college just because I forgot my books. Mom has been reminding me to pack everything properly. She's always so worried about me, but I assure her that I can handle things on my own.

Me: Coming, mummy! Don't shout( I call out, trying to keep her calm.)

Me: I was just packing. We have to leave tomorrow morning for college, and you're already shouting. Not fair! (pout playfully, trying to lighten the atmosphere.)

 Mummy: Packing done

Me(mutter) :What was I doing then?

Mummy: The phone  should not be switched off. Give your room partner's number there

 Me :Yeah, yeah, I know, Ma. That's why you got me a keypad phone too, Matashree, 

As everyone gathers to eat, Papa seems all set for the journey.

papa: How will you manage everything beta? ( expressing his concern)

 mummy is getting emotional.

 Me(trying to soothe her ) : Mummy, yaar, please don't cry I say,  I'll do just fine on my own. It's time for me to travel this path alone. I've grown up, remember?, (putting her  hand on my head, trying to mimic a mature gesture.)

I try my best to control my emotions. I had never been alone in my life before, but I made this decision on my own. It's both exciting and nerve-wracking.

After finishing the packing, I decide to indulge in some Netflix time. I love watching Netflix at night because it gives me the peace and solitude I cherish. I'm a night owl, so staying up late doesn't affect my sleep that much. I only need around 6 hours of sleep, and tomorrow's journey will be spent mostly sleeping. Long drives aren't my thing unless it's a night drive.

Right now, I'm watching "Purple Heart." It's such an emotional and romantic movie. I find myself falling for the male protagonist, Luke. He seems like a person from a bygone era, where emotions and love were more genuine. Nowadays, it feels like everyone is just calculating profit and loss in every aspect of life. People can be so frustrating!

But then there are exceptions, like my best friend Simran and her fiancé, Rishabh bhaiya. They're the perfect example of a made-for-each-other couple. When Simran first told me about their relationship, I was shocked, but after meeting Rishabh bhaiya, I understood why she fell for him. He's sweet and soft-spoken, a genuinely kind person.

Thinking about best friends, Ritik Mehra comes to mind. I miss him the most right now. We used to be best buddies, but things changed when he developed feelings for me. Love, the stupid little word, ruined our friendship. Three years of friendship shattered because of it. I advised everyone to never fall for their best friend. It hurts to see your best friend in a broken state because of you.As for love, it's currently out of my syllabus. 

I can give the world's best advice on love, but falling in love myself? Never going to happen. I'm afraid I'll end up like Ritik, heartbroken and devastated. So, I'd rather avoid it altogether.Byy good night, guys... Oh wait, I haven't posted on Instagram yet! Koi na, I'll update it now.

Armaan POV:

Such a exahausting day and I'm looking forward to a good sleep. Tomorrow, my chachaji and chachiji  are coming to my college for my sister Ridhanshi's admission. She got selected in my college ,but in a different branch. I'm proud of her achievements.

that bastard is also not here ..... where's my phone .

(Calling Await)

Me- you bloody bastard where are you ?

Adwait- whoa..whoa.. chill dude I'm at cafeteria waiting for our order , we're not going for hostel mess today okay ??

Me- Yeah ......add coke also

Adwait- ok boss coming in 10 minutes and don't dare to start that series alone okay .... I'll break your handsome face I swear.

Me- come fast then

(After eating there stuff)

Adwait- when is your sister coming

Me- tomorrow bro

Adwait- let's see this time how many fresher's fall in your charms ..

Me- come back to earth , you know I don't like this shitty topic.

Adwait- boring chauhan....

And when you're going to move on from that girl .

Me- again I'm telling you I moved on kab ka.

Adwait- really??

Me- see she's not for me and I'm not for her , and she's different . No worry at all but I hate that best friend wala tag if you know that I'm your bestfriend than why the hell you gave me hints and then you also want to have me as a side person whyyyy ..

I hate that concept I love you as a best friend..

You know I hate love , this word doesn't exist it's just a combination of two freeking hormones which overpower our mind only ..

And about heart - his work is only to pump blood onlyyyy

Adwait - okay okay calm down

See I'm your best friend I also love you..

Me- I'm not talking about that type of love.

Adwait - love is only one type and that is devotion and nothing else...

And about word "hate" it's a second version of love .

You can only hate that person whom you loved once ..you can't hate strangers

Think about it .
