"You're smarter than you look," I say to Damon as I snatch the papers back from his hands. There's no point in denying it, when he basically already knows. Maybe now, I'll find away to get rid of him. Or maybe I don't need to. God, who knows.

"Really," Damon ignores the dig. "You think Gabriel Agreste is Hawkmoth?" He wrinkles his nose. "That's ludicrous."

"Yeah, so is your face," I turn my attention away from him, looking back at my papers. "I don't really know if I'm right. I just have this feeling."

"Is it a good feeling?"

God, how stupid and crude can he possibly be?

"What do you think, Lamon?" I shove the papers in my bag. "If I'm right and Gabriel Agreste is Hawkmoth then we're going to have an really big problem. Forget we, just me."

"Lame-on?" Damon scoffs at me. "Wow, never heard that one before," He shoves his hands in his pockets. "So what are you going to do about it? Tell Chat Noir and Ladybug? Your cat boyfriend or whatever?"

"I can't tell him," the words slip through my lips before I can stop them. "I'm going to find Ladybug."

"So what's he look like without the suit?" Damon asks, a cheeky expression on his face. "Or have you seen him without his mask on?"

"I don't know why that's any of your business," I haul my backpack over my shoulder, standing up and starting to walk down the road.

Damon calls after me. "Y/N! Wait!"

I pause for a second. "Now that I know, can't I help you?" He asks. "I know I've been a jerk, but I really do want to help. Besides, I know as much as you know, right? I promise I can be helpful."

I pretend to think it over in my head. "hmm....no." I keep walking. "I don't need you, Damon, I can do this myself."
