THE BIRTH OF RHAENAERA TARGARYEN was one of the easiest birth for Alicent, aside from Aegon. Rhaenaera was born right after Helaena, both girls being only but a year or two apart. In consideration of King Viserys I Targaryen, he allowed his daughter, his legitimate heir, Rhaenyra Targaryen, name his second born daughter. Whom he felt extremely proud of, as the girl's prophecy was said to be she, a dreamer.
The horror of the dreams kept Rhaenaera awake, having only her father to trust in. Both were bothered by prophecies, both were fascinated and fond of dragons, both were interested in the architectures of old Valyria. They only had each other when their loved ones were away. Alicent had a hard time connecting with her first born daughter, Helaena. No less, she had less trouble getting fond of her other daughter, Rhaenaera.
For Alicent believed, this girl would be the most reliable member of this war, for her side, and if Rhaenyra managed to sway her half-sister, perhaps a reliable member of the Blacks as well . . . . . .
