Chapter 5: Shock Laga

Nandu was roaming in the garden while looking for Manik, suddenly someone pulled her closer by her hand.

Nandu bumped into Manik's broad chest.

"So Miss Nandini Shukla, finally tum mujhse milne aa hi gayi." Manik said looking at her.

"Kisne kaha main tumse milne aayi hoon? I came here to meet my boyfriend." Nandu said with attitude while hiding her blush.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"So who's your boyfriend?"

Nandu brought her face closer to Manik's ear and whispered, "Mr. Manik Mukherjee."

Saying that Nandu kissed his one cheek to which Manik blushed a little.

"By the way yeh surprise accha diya tumne mujhe. I never thought ki tum mere hone wale jiju ki Behen niklogi." Manik said further.

"Manik main khud surprised hoon. Mujhe bhi nahi paata tha ki hum tumhare ghar mein rishta dekhne aa rahe hai." Nandu said.

"Waise dekha jaaye toh jo hua accha hi hua. Till today we were thinking how we would tell our parents about our relationship. Lekin ab koi darr nahi hai. Humari families ke bich waise bhi rishta jud raha hai. Agar unhe humare baare mein paata chal bhi gaya toh koi problem nahi hogi. Moreover they will be happy."

Nandu smiled hearing that.

"Bas meri Didi aur tumhare Bhaiya ek dusre ko pasand kar le." Manik said.

Hearing that, Nandu's smile faded away.

"Should I tell Manik about Bhai's relationship with Hina?" Nandu asked herself. "Lekin iss se toh yeh shaadi kabhi nahi hogi. And now I also want them to get married. Not just because of Manik, mujhe Sana Bhabhi bhi bohut acchi lagi. She and Bhai, they are perfect for each other. Aur agar Bhai unse shaadi karne ke liye taiyar ho jaate hai toh woh zaroor Hina se break-up kar lenge. I better stay quiet and wait for his decision."

Seeing Nandu lost somewhere, Manik waved his hand in front of her eyes.

"Kya hogaya?" Manik asked to which Nandu nodded in no.

Then she said, "I think humein andar jaana chahiye."

Manik agreed and they both went inside.

By the time, Sidharth and Sana also returned.

Everybody in Sana's family liked Sidharth very much at first sight. He was a well-mannered guy who knew how to respect elders. Sana's parents were now certain that he was the guy they were looking for their daughter. Sneha and Manik also liked Sidharth as their 'Jiju' and they badly wanted this marriage to be fixed.

But the person who was very much relaxed right then was Sana. She was happy thinking that she wouldn't have to marry Sidharth. She was sure that he himself would call off this marriage as he had a girlfriend and he loved her very much. Nowadays nobody chooses his family over love.

The Shukla family had lunch at Sana's house and after that it was time for them to leave.

"Aap sab se mil ke bohut accha laga. Khaas kar ki Sana Beti se." Ashok Ji said to which Sana smiled and Sidharth rolled his eyes.

"Hum abhi chalte hai. Aap log bhi thoda waqt le li jiye sochne ke liye. Phir hum pakki baat karte hai." He said further.

Santosh Ji and Pratima Ji nodded in yes. Though they liked Sidharth, they needed time to think.

"Waise humein sochne ke liye waqt nahi chahiye. Sana humein bohut acchi lagi. Humari taraf se rishta pakka hi samjhiye." Rita Ji said.

"Sidharth bhi humein bohut accha laga. Lekin phir bhi itna bada decision hai. Zaldbaazi mein nahi le sakte." Santosh Ji said.
