'cause you're perfect
And I know that you're worth it
I can't walk away, oh!
Even though we're going through it
And it makes you feel alone
Just know that I would die for you
Baby, I would die for you, yeah'

jude's pov

she's finally fallen asleep again

the funeral was 3 days ago

we all initially went, but just like before, she gave her speech and ran out in tears, and i had to take her home

it hurt her so much that she would throw up all the time

i've never seen her so broken

she slept and cried through new years, and i had to stay with her

i've managed to get the next week off from coach, just so i can make sure she settles in fine once were back in Spain

.

i walk over to Emil and Jobe's room

"hey" i smile as i see Emil lying on his bed, clearly sad

they both look at me

"hey, i know this isn't great timing, but i do need to tell you something"

Emil looks at me, clearly wanting me to leave

"i had some scouts look at both of you a while ago, and they want you both. at Madrid"

he sits up and stares

"you joking?" he says, nearly smiling

"it was meant to be your christmas present, but uhh- yeah"

"thanks Jude" he says, a little smile appearing on his lips as i walk to him and hug him

i look over to Jobe, who's face was gleaming, he was so happy

"thank you so much!" he exclaims

.

i walk back into my room, to see Chloe had gotten up to be sick again in the toilet

"love" i say patting her back as she washed her mouth with soap, to get rid of the taste of vomit "can we please see a doctor?"

"i'm fine, i'm just still really hurt, and i think i've got the flu" she looks at me, pain in her eyes

"cee, please, i'm worries"

"fine" she mutters

i smile as she begins to put on some new clothes

.

she was ever so slightly better today

i think she finally noticed that this was her reality, and that she needed to accept it

Emil on the other hand, he still had training, so he'd go, and come back, then lay in bed till the next day

i'm devastated too

i would be lying if i didn't admit that i shed a lot of tears

but i had to keep myself together, at least to a certain extent, so that i could take care of Chloe

i don't think she needs the sight of me crying in her head, it won't help her

.

we arrive at the nearby hospital and take an appointment

after explaining her symptoms, the doctor tells her to take a few tests and wait a bit, and then she'll call us back in

.

we are called back into her office

"take a seat" the older woman says to us as i smile "i think i figured out what's going on"
