Nandini stood by the window, gazing out into the night, her thoughts a maelstrom of emotions and apprehensions. She couldn't help but ponder what awaited her on this unexpected journey of marriage. Changing into more comfortable attire, she freshened up, trying to calm her racing heart. She knew that soon, Manik would enter this room, and she had no idea how he would react to the truth she was hiding.

The scent of fresh flowers in the room filled her senses, but her mind was occupied with questions. Would he be angry when he found out the reality of their arranged marriage? Would he see her as a deceiver, someone who had played a part in the elaborate charade?

She wished she could read his thoughts, understand what was going on in his mind, but it remained a mystery. Nandini settled on a chair, her hands trembling slightly as she considered the impending moment when her husband would walk through that door. She couldn't hide the truth forever, and she feared the consequences of revealing it.

Meanwhile, Manik's cousins and parents gathered around him, wearing mischievous smiles. They couldn't resist teasing him about his wedding night, fully aware of his reserved nature.

His cousin, Rohan, winked and said, "Manik, you're a married man now. No more hiding in your study. It's time for some romance!"

Manik's mother, Maya, joined in with a knowing smile. "Yes, Manik. You and your wife have the whole night ahead. Make it special!"

Manik blushed at the teasing and tried to play it cool. "Come on, guys, it's not a big deal. I'll just join her."

His younger cousin, Riya, chimed in, "Don't be so serious, Manik. Enjoy your wedding night!"

Manik's father, Mr. Malhotra, patted him on the back. "We're just having some fun, son. You two have a great life ahead."

With a mix of embarrassment and amusement, Manik headed toward their room, while his family's laughter echoed behind him. He couldn't help but wonder how this night would unfold, unaware of the secrets that his wife was keeping and the challenges they both would face as they embarked on this unexpected journey of marriage.

As Manik made his way to their room, he was met with more teasing from his younger sister, who couldn't resist a bit of mischief.

Manik's younger sister playfully whispered, "Manik, you better be a good husband, or your wife might just tell us all about it."

Manik chuckled nervously and replied, "Don't worry, I'll do my best."

With a wink and a mischievous grin, his younger sister wished him well and left him alone in the doorway of their room, where his heart raced standing in front door of their room, the room where he would spend his first night as a married man.

Little did he know that behind that door, Nandini was grappling with her own fears and doubts, both of them bound by the secrets they held. Their journey as husband and wife had indeed begun, but the path ahead was filled with unexpected twists and turns, waiting to be unveiled.
