35. Stupid Tradition

Becky's pov

When we were out of the safe house Nam spoke"we should talk about our study preparations" Nam said

"We can do it like we always do " Heng said

"Noooo" Freen and Noey protested and i looked at her

"You can't say no to this guys, it's our tradition. Remember the last time i begged all of you" Engfa said and smirked

"No one is gonna miss the study session, we all are going and it's final" Heng said

"What's the tradition" i asked

"Oh, you don't know right" Kate asked and i shook my head

"A week before exam we will go out resort at the ***** and we will shut our phone and study hard" Kate said

"It's a good thing, why are you hesitating " i asked Freen

"You don't get it???" She asked in a confused state

"What" i asked

"It means that we won't talk or meet until the exam is over" Freen said

"What, that's unfair" i  protested

"That's what I said last year. So bear it with Char and Irin and saty with them" Enga said

"But -" I was cut off by Nam

"There's no buts Bec, we have to do it and it's what we always do and it will be over in a few days" Nam said

I quickly went beside Freen and hugged her "baby" I said giving her puppy eyes

"I know baby, but I can't do anything. I'm helpless " she said and i pouted more.

Freen's pov

Throughout the ride Becky was silent. I was getting worried. I will be gone for 2 weeks and she's giving me silent treatment now.

When we reached my condo, Becky left first. But she walked first instead of walking with me. As soon as we got inside. She started to kiss me .

"Babe..   hmmmmm" i monaed

She bit my lowe lip and entered her tongue inside me. We fought for dominance but i let her win. She will need this.

She roamed her hands all over my back and pulled our body closer. She broke the kiss when we lacked air.

As we parted, she kissed my jaw and sucked my neck.

"Bec, aahhrrrrr" I moaned

"Okay done" she said and moved away

"What was that for" i asked

"That's a reminder that you have a pretty wife who is waiting for you in the home to come back" she said and i gave her a peck

"Well that was a good reminder, can i get more" i asked

"I would love to" she said and gave me a kiss. After that she hugged me and snuggled closer to me

"Bec, you ok" i asked. I was feeling a bit uneasy

"I'm gonna miss you babe" she said and pouted

"And I'll miss you more baby" I said and pulled her closer to me. I carried her to the sofa and I sat down. She clung on me like a koala.

"Baby" i called her and  she hummed

"Take care when I'm not here na" I said she nodded "don't stay here to my home or your home, I don't want you to be alone" I said and she nodded again

"Don't skip your classes and foods. And remember to drink water" i said and she nodded

"Call Micheal or kirk if you need something" I said and she nodded. But i felt my shirt getting soaked this time.

"Baby" i called her and lifted her head. She saw sobbing. When she saw me she started tu cry louder. I was feeling bad

"Hey, don't cry na" I said and wiped her tears.

"Baby, I love you na" i said and kissed her head

"I l-love yo-you t-too" she said in a cracking voice

"I'll be back before you know" I said and gave her a peck.

"Take care of yourself" she said and i smiled "let me have my wife now" she said and snuggled more.

"Aww my cute wifey, I'll make it up to you when I came back na" I said

"You better" she said and laid on my chest.

I got a text from my friends that we will leave tonight and we should meet at Heng's home.

After that i went to take a bath and got ready and packed. Throughout this Becky was clinging to me. But I won't complain. I will miss her

She insisted on driving me to Noey's place. Throughout the ride she was silent. She wasn't clinging anymore. I already informed both of our parents about this. And they already ensured me that they will take care of Becca.

When we got to Heng's place. I saw Char clinging onto Engfa. And Irin to Noey and Mind to Nam.

I got out of the car and put the suitcase to the van we are using.

"Let's go now, we should reach before midnight " Heng said

"You and your stupid tradition I hate exams" Char said

"Easy there babe I'll be back" Engfa said.

We all bid our goodbyes to our loved ones. I came near Becky. And hugged her.

"Take care na" I said

"You too" she said and broke the hug.

She was acting strong. And i didn't wanna break it. And I really didn't wanna see her cry again. I got on the van and others did too. We left the place cause if we stayed another minute we will not leave.
