The transfiguration classroom was a strange mix of cluttered yet organised. Lining the shelves along the back were countless cages of animals and creatures whilst around the edge of the classroom there was a large amount of blackboards covered in instructions on how to transfigure certain things.

"Transfiguration. My best subject." James grinned.

"Only because Minnie teaches it so you actually pay attention." Young Remus said.

"Well Mr Potter while I am glad you pay attention in my class it would be beneficial to do so in all of your classes no?" Professor McGonogall spoke.

"Other classes are boring though! Where else am I gonna learn how to turn a cat into a mug." James huffed.

"Could I have your attention please? Right, now today we will be transforming animals into water goblets. Like so." Mcgonagall spoke, pointing her wand at a black and white bar that sat upon a perch on her desk.

"Vera verto." James said.

"One, two, three Vera verto." She swished her wand and the bird moulded from a bird into a glass water goblet.

"Woah!" The class cried, looking at where the animal once was.

"Now it's your turn. So who would like to go first?" Mcgonagall asked. Her eyes landed first on Ron who sat with Harry in the second row, "ah Mr Weasley. 'One two three Vera verto'." She repeated.

Ron nodded innocently determination and pointed his wand at where his rat Scabbers sat on a pile of books on his desk he cleared his throat and tapped his wand on Scabbers thrice then spoke, "Vera verto." Green sparks shot out of the end of his taped up wand and Scabbers squeaked as he morphed into a furry cup with the tail still swishing.

"At least it's in the right shape." Hermione reassured him.

Harry grinned at the strange sight and the rest of the class laughed as Ron picked up the furry goblet.

"That wand needs replacing Mr Weasley." Mcgonagall told him as she walked away.

Hermione raised her hand high into the air.

"Yes Miss Granger?"

"Professor, I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets." Hermione asked apprehensively.

"Thank you Hermione, the question everyone has had." Younger Sirius sighed.

The class stared in question at Mcgonagall as she looked around the silent class.
