42. I Am The Gift For Her

Ishqi was curiously looking towards Ahaan, so he might say something about the surprise.

"Mujhe ghurne se kuch nahi hoga. So just have some patience." , Ahaan said and pulled her cheek.

Soon their car arrived at a cafe in the lush greenery and they both came out from the car.

"Hum yaha kyu aaye hai Ahaan?" , Ishqi enquired.

"Ye kaisa sawal hua. Hum yaha thoda saath mein time spend karne aaye hai. Let's go in. ", he replied.

She nodded and they went inwards. Both were going when Ishqi heard a familiar voice.

"Vriddhan pure Mumbai mein tumhe lunch ke liye hotel se itni durr ye hi jaga mili, isse accha toh main apni friend se hi mil leti."

Listening to the voice, Ishqi just mumbled,"Mishti", and she went in search of that voice.

She reached the place and found her friend Mishti with son Aayush in her hands and her husband Vriddhan standing beside her. Mishti was talking with Vriddhan.

Ishqi called out Mishti 's name and Mishti looked in her direction. Both of them had happy tears in their eyes. Mishti handed over Aayush to Vriddhan and the both friends hugged each other. It was a joyous moment for them as they have not seen each other for a long time.

Ahaan and Vriddhan smiled and showed thumbs up to each other.

After being in each other's embrace for a few moments, both ladies broke the hug.

"Kaisi hai tu?", Ishqi asked.

"Main ek dam badhiya, tu bata tu kaisi hai?", Mishti replied.

"Bole toh jhakas, tu yaha, I mean tu Mumbai mein kab aur kaise?", Ishqi enquired.

"Chain se saans toh lene de, bas kal evening mein hi hum Mumbai aaye, Vriddhan ke business..." ,Mishti was replying but stopped in the middle when her gaze fell on his husband who was smiling sheepishly. Similarly, Ishqi also found Ahaan smiling.

Both friends looked at each other and started saying in unison, "Iska matlab, hum dono ko milwana, aap dono ka plan tha."

Both the husbands just smiled.

Ahaan started saying, "Vo jo saamne table hai vo humne book kiya hai, so both of you just enjoy yourselves."

As soon as Ahaan completed his words, he along with Vriddhan and his son left for a walk in the garden area and both wives took their seats and started talking.

In the garden, Ahaan thanked Vriddhan and he replied, "Ahaan isme thanks kehne vali konsi baat hai. In fact Mishti ke face par vo khushi dekhkar mujhe kafi accha laga. Tumhe toh pata hi hai ki shaadi ke baad hamari biwiyon ki life kitni badal jaati hai. Unki life sirf hamare peeche hi ghumti rehti hai. Hum husbands even apne friends se bhi mil paate hai but hamari biwiyan bas phone calls ya messages se hi apne friends se connected rehti hai. So thoda bahut unke liye karna toh banta hai boss. Issliye jab tumne Ishqi ke birthday par aane ke liye bola, so I agreed immediately."

Ahaan smilingly said, "Tumne ek dam sahi kaha Vriddhan, our wives deserved better things from us . I guess muje tumse thode bahaut tips lene chahiye after all you are having more experience than me in married life."

Vriddhan laughed and said, "Jarur."

They both continued their banters when Aayush started crying. Vriddhan was trying to calm him down and Aayush started looking at his father with a smile and making some noise.
