THE FLIP SIDE

Annabeth's POV

My new video for my YouTube channel just went up. I got ready and got in the car waiting for Percy. We were meeting up with some of our friends today. Three of them are demigods that helped a lot in the wars which is how we met. We've never actually met the other two.

They also have a YouTube channel altogether, they are known as the Flip Side. They live in a really big house, this is probably because they get along really well with the Hephaestus cabin.

Percy finally comes out and drives us there. We blast some music and before we know it, we're here. They moved into this house last year, I haven't been inside yet because we all have been too busy with the war.

We ring the doorbell and Camila answers it. "Annabeth! Percy! Glad you two can come," she opens the door wide enough so Percy and I can get in. Camila or mostly known as Chaos to her fans is the witty, funny, sarcastic one of the group. She's a daughter of Athena, making me her half-sister.

"Guys Percy and Annabeth are here!" she yells followed by the rumbling of feet. We all greet each other with hugs.

"I thought you two weren't getting here for another half-an-hour," Tia remarked. Tia is short for Celestia, but she hates that name so she goes by Tia. She's a daughter of Ares, definitely the violent one of the group. Her fans mostly know her as Tempest which means violent storm.

I look over to see two other girls, from their videos, Charisma seems to be the baby. The innocent one, as they like to call it. And Eclipse seems to be the sassy and funny one. "Annabeth, Percy, meet Liv and Jayda," Tia introduces. We say our 'hellos' followed by the shake of hands.

"Olivia's the whiny baby and Jayda's the annoying loud one," Camila cleared up. That itself started a playful argument between them.

"What the Hades is going on here?" Ade, or Adelaide, or Infinity, take your pick, asked from the top of the staircase. She was wearing  her glasses, messy bun, oversized sweatshirt and shorts (typical lazy day). "Oh hey Percy, Annie," she greets lazily. I glare at her, she knew very well I hated that nickname. Percy just simply waved at her giving her his signature grin.

"Hello sis," I grin walking slowly up to her. Addy cautiously started backing away knowing my tactics being with me all these years.

Liv and Jayda looked very confused at our actions so Jayda suggested to go sit down. We sat on their couch and Percy put his arm around me. "You got a hot one, be thankful for that," Liv just blurted out after a comfortable silence.

"I'm right here you know?" asked Percy.

"Oh I know, I just said you're hot," she replied rather casually. Percy eyed her suspiciously has Tia and Ade put their head in their hands.

"Olivia, they think you're hitting on him," Tia groaned.

"What have we told you about this?" Ade rhetorically asked. The other two shake their heads and tried to think of something to change the topics.

"So, how did you two meet?" Jayda asked feeling relieved.

"We went to the same camp, I nursed this Seaweed Brain back to health after getting in some freak accident right outside of camp," I answered her.

"That's so cute! How was it, love at first sight?" Jayda asked once again like an Aphrodite kid.

"No, no, definitely not. She actually beat the crap out of me once. We just grew to be best friends that argue a lot. Then I asked her out and we kissed and the other campers threw us in the lake," Percy stepped in explaining.

"My cabin led that. My sister yelled to throw them in the lake!" Tia exclaimed.

"Our sister got thrown in the lake!" Camila shouted with exaggerated glee and they all high-fived.

Liv and Jayda were practically the heart eyes emoji judging by their facial expressions. Percy checked the time and informed them that we had to go "pick up some people from school". The other demigods understood and we said our goodbyes.

They walked us out the door and I heard Jayda mumble "I wish I'll find my soulmate one day," Which reminds me of how lucky I am to still have my Seaweed Brain.

We get in the car and I look him in the eye only to say "I love you Seaweed Brain."

Of course, he replies with "I love you too Wise Girl," but this time he added "I'd be dead without you," and I felt like he didn't just mean that as literal as possible

Well, umm, was 5 days(?) too long?

I feel like I wrote this chapter more for my enjoyment than for the reads it's gonna get. Kind of an inside joke between my friends and I, you know who you are.

I'm half way done another chapter so maybe around the same time tomorrow it'll be up. This is the certain time I write, I feel like I have no time to write but this time.

Well that's it I guess. Stay in school kids 👍.
