2nd person POV

You scan the book shelf looking for a book to buy and read. Specifically looking for a new series to obsess over. You see The Mortal Instruments series, Already've read that you thought.

You start sorting the books into which ones you've read, which ones look boring or you don't want to read and which ones you'll consider. Hunger Games? Read it. Divergent? Read it. Harry Potter? Whole series more than five times. Dorothy Must Die? Seems pretty cool. Game of Thrones? Yeah, I'll read that if I can't find anything. Right next to it you see all the books that Youtubers have written, which you've also read... every single one of them.

You take a sip from your beverage and look down to see your shoe laces untied. You crouch down and put your drink on a shelf then tied your shoes. As you pick up your drink from the third shelf, you see a familiar book cover behind it. Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth. It's been a while since you've read that book in particular. You look for the first book because your copy has been tattered, you've lent it out to multiple people.

As you pick up two more books, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Michael Vey and the Prisoner of Cell 25 to be exact, to replace your broken ones, you head to the cashier picking up your shopping bags from HMV and Hot Topic.

You pay for everything and head out of the store. "Those two books are some of my favourites," says someone from behind you. You turn around to see a girl with stormy grey eyes and blonde hair.

"Really? Mine too, my copies are all broken so I've decided to buy new ones. It's funny because you look exactly like Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson series, even act like her," you answer the lady.

"Well, maybe because it is me," she said. Your eyes practically bulge out of their sockets, No, it can't be the Annabeth Chase, she's telling some sort of joke.

"Wait, what? No, I'm sorry but Annabeth is just a book character, you can't possibly be-" you get cut off by another voice coming from the book store.

"Wise Girl! I bought all of them, the last book even comes with a poster." the boy said holding up the Heroes of Olympus series panting. He stopped right beside you and Annabeth, who you're still indecisive if that's really her. The boy stopped panting stood up straight. He noticed you there finally. "Hey, nice to meet you. Percy Jackson," he stuck out his hand.

"Y/F/N (full not first), nice to meet you to," You shake his hand and start to wonder. This guy does look a lot like the Percy Jackson in the books, the windswept hair, upbeat personality and obviously, the sea green eyes. Is this some kind of cosplay? They don't look like Alexandra and Logan. What if it is them? Several thoughts bombard your mind at once. "But is it really you?" you ask hoping to see something that clarifies this whole thing.

You luckily did, Percy nodded and reached for his pocket. He takes out a pen and holds it out. He uncaps it, it made a shiinng noise as you see the pen transform into a sword. You stare in awe and all Annabeth says is "Looks like we've got a clear sighted mortal here, come on let's grab some food. We'll fill you in on some stuff."

Percy caps the pen and puts it back in his pocket as the three of you head to McDonalds.

You reach for a crunchy fry and listen to Annabeth explaining when Rachel heads to camp. "But she does only come every now and then. I think I can convince Chiron to let you come," she says. You nod calmly but on the inside you're absolutely are freaking out because you are meeting two of your heroes you believed to be fake. "So, any questions?" she asks you.

You take no time to think about this because you've wondered this yourself countless of times. "If you pick any other Greek god to be your parent who would it be?"

"That's not what I-"

"Hermes" Percy interrupted Annabeth, he has a thing for interrupting. Though he's cleared up that he doesn't do it on purpose. Annabeth just sighs at her boyfriend.

You three continue on the conversation for about an hour longer and you realize that you have to be home in ten minutes. You quickly text your mom and tell the couple that you have to go. "Wait! We'll take you, I have a car and it'll be easier to explain to your mom," Percy insists and you agree.

You get settled in the Percy Jackson's car and smile to your self. The fact that Athena and Hermes teamed up with Percy to write this series boggles your mind. But the hardest thing to take in was the fact that your superheroes are real. Today was a good day. And that last sentence won "the understatement of the month" award.

I forgot to post this when I finished it and only noticed today. So what's new?

There's no more Draw Phil Naked's, that's pretty sad. Painted my nails black and for once I didn't fail. My maths teacher gave us a quiz and two pages of homework on the same day. I'm also supposed to write a "humorous story" for class and I chose Dan Howell as my main character 👌. May the odds be ever in your favour. <- #canadianspelling
