The Kaffee House is one of our favourite
Places.
Lauren, Will and I drank
Warm drinks and continued to watch the rain.
It is supposed to be summer, why is it raining today?
The weather can't afford to be sad
All the time because
It allows no chance
For variation.
Variation brings change.
Then who walks through the door
No one else but you.
My heart skips until
I see the fake
Girls follow you in along
With some more guys from the
Wrong crowd

One of them shouted insults
In our direction but shuts up
As soon as he noticed
The disapproving glares of the
Other customers.
I
Just watched to see
Your reaction.
Nothing.
So in the end
We finished our drinks hurriedly
And hastily left the
Kaffee House and travelled
Out of the warmth
And into the rain.
Will told a terrible joke
And Lauren and I laughed as
We walked past the shop window
And finally I caught
A glimpse of you
And then your
Eyes met mine.
I held your gaze for a moment
Suspended before
We tipped
Over and I walked down the
Street with my two best friends.
Leaving you behind.
Leaving my promise to be brave
Back up on the hill.
