We play card games.
Then we usually end
Up watching a film
And lately

And lying on his shoulder.
I'm not sure whether
It's acceptable but
It's comfortable.
He tells
Me things
Until I fall
Asleep.
We both fall asleep on the
Sofa
On the nights my parents are away.
Maybe there is something
Within me that
Still cares for Will
Beyond friends
But while there's
You,
It does not compare.
Lauren and I
Are once again
Best friends,
Our relationship completely
Restored
From the broken mess
It once was.
She fulfils her
Role and I hope
I fulfil mine.
Yes, there are dips
And bumps
Just like there are
Hills and valleys
In the land.
Friendship is never easy
But the hardest things
To keep are,
Generally, worth the most.
