English Assessment: Write a short poem/story about losing something. You will be marked on your creativity, spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Some things have to fade,

For one reason or another.

Sometimes fading

Gives you space

For new experiences, and

New things to happen.

The seasons

Fade into each other

Like watercolours

Bleeding into

Each other on a

Blank page.

Or the memories

Of childhood, blurring round the

Edges and faces.

And the more you try to

Remember the more

You seem to forget.

But I think we're missing the point.

We sometimes should let

Time take its course

And move us on

And let things fade

So we can progress

Into something

Better.

If we are ever

In love with each other

I don't want our

Love to fade,

Like the seasons.

You mean too much

To risk losing.

(15/15) - Well done Chloe.
