"Casper. Hmm," He looked into the distance. "I guess I could get used to it, if only you call me by it. Only you."
I laughed. "Why me?"
"Because it's you."
"Okay...That's kinda freaky.. but ohwells. Casper?"
He grinned, a smile that lit up his face. "Yes?"
"Why can't I go home yet?"
His smile disappeared. Damn. Wait, why damn?
He shifted his weight, avoiding my gaze, fidgeted for alittle while, then his eyes rested back on mine. "You don't want to stay here?"
I felt a pang of guilt. Why did he have that look? He looked disappointed. Not just in anything, but in me. It's almost as if...Never mind.
"Well, I hardly know this place... and like, I feel weird being here. No offence to you or anything, but you know."
"I guess."
