I know it's been four weeks since the last upload, but I have writer's block. And frankly, I have a life outside of wattpad so I can't be uploading very often. I told you guys that when I get breaks, I'll upload faster and so far, I haven't gotten a break yet. But when I do, uploads will be every three or four days. :) Sorry, guys, just bear with me.

And the cover to the side is by HeartbeatDream. :)

Hm, I think that's it.

Chapter Twenty-Five - Fat and Muscle

"Go ahead, you can laugh at me." Noah grumbled as we got off the Ferris Wheel and headed to the exit.

"Why would I laugh?" I asked him, genuinely curious.

He narrowed his eyes on me, as if trying to tell if it was a trick question or not. "Because you wouldn't think the Noah Evers is afraid of such a silly thing as heights."

I smiled, "Actually, I didn't think you would be, but it's still not something to laugh at."

He tilted his head to the side and grinned a little, "You never fail to surprise me."

Before I could answer, the rest of our group joined us.

"So you got Noah to get on the Ferris Wheel?" Alex spoke first, "I've never seen anyone who was able to do so, not even me. And I'm, well, me."

Rose spoke up next, "But it is pretty unmanly to be afraid of heights."

I looked at them confused, "Wait, you guys know that he's afraid of heights?"

"Yeah," Liam said, "it was pretty hilarious when we hiked a mountain for a field trip back a few years ago and when we reached the top and looked down, Noah nearly had a panic attack. I think he was going to pee himself, too."

Everyone, except for Noah and me, started laughing. Noah clearly didn't find this funny at all. It was written on his face as he looked at our snickering friends with annoyance in his eyes and a frown on his lips.

"Oh, lighten up." Emily gasped out to Noah.

Noah's face turned into a smirk as he replied snidely, "Oh, I bet you're very lightened up." He laughs and gives a grinning Liam a high five as Emily's face slowly turns into a bitter scowl.

"We didn't have sex on the Ferris Wheel!" Emily cried, outraged.

"So what would you call what we did up there?" Liam asked, knitting his eyebrows together. I got to give it to him, he had good acting.

Emily's cheeks blazed, and she stalked off in front of the group with her hands knotted into fists. Liam chuckled and wrapped his arm around her waist, walking beside her.

"So where are we going to eat?" Rose asked.

"Applebee's!"

"No! No, no, no, no, no! Please! Please don't!" Jane sobbed from the couch as I walked down the stairs, a balled up tissue was pressed to her nose. "Don't listen to the evil witch! You guys are meant to be together!"

I chuckled as I kept walking to the kitchen. She reminds me of mom, maybe just a little more strict, which kind of surprises me considering Noah's a player, or ex-player now. I still don't know who turned him otherwise.

Opening the fridge, I found just what I was looking for. The best thing ever invented. Milk. I grabbed the gallon and turned around, closing the fridge. Then I headed for the pantry to find some cereal. I took the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch off the shelf and headed back outside to the high chairs. But when I came out, I came face-to-face with very happy looking Noah.
